This was a truly amazing tour. It almost felt like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to get this exclusive peek behind the scenes at this pioneering 3d printer company, everything from the tech to the conference room to the dogs (and goats!). Out of everything we did in Austin, my teen/college age kids ranked this their favorite activity, and we went the week of SXSW so that is saying a lot! We felt David was extremely generous with his time, as well.

An exciting way to see first-hand cutting-edge technology and learn about corporate responsibility in action. The 60-minute tour was informative and professional. Charlotte was amazing! She could answer any question with “made sense” answers. There were 3 of us who had heard of 3-D printers but no idea as to how they worked. I HIGHLY recommend everyone from kids to grandmas take this tour to educate yourself about how 3D printers are built, how they function, and how this company is reusing/recycling plastic. Go Gigabots!

My son loved talking to the guide about the 3D printing world and was very happy with the time spent at the factory. They have a cool story and we have a better upstanding of how these large format printers are made and what they are used for. My son is in robotics and was all into this tour. The rocket you take home is pretty cool as well!
