Amy is a fabulous guide. She knows her food, her vendors, and her history of the area and waves it into the walking tour with numerous stops for incredibly good food. She keeps an eye on all the guests to make sure that they’re still with her and the cheese with them. She’s very at ease with being a guide and very professional, but also very affable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who likes to experience the food of the city that they’re in. She will give you a new outlook on true Greek food.

The locations might change day to day with the tour since they use local people and smaller stores but I think that's pretty cool!

Giota was a fun and engaging tour guide and the food we had was so good! We left full so definitely come hungry. She was easy to find at the meeting point and gave us enough time to sit and enjoy the food at easy stop. I loved that she talked about the history of Athens and used food to highlight the many cultural influences and tell a story.

Talk about a delicious blast! Great food all while learning the culture, history, and the language of Greece. Our guide was phenomenal and my family of 8 enjoyed every bite. Our food tour of Athens was a fantastic experience! Our guide, Jenny, was exceptional and surpassed our expectations. She full of knowledge about the districts of Athens, gave a ton of background information about the foods we shared, and genuinely excited about the work that she does. She is very proud to be a native and her love of Greece comes across in her tour. The food stops were great & we were fed well- leaving with full bellies and new knowledge of the Athens area. We highly recommend this tour with Jenny.

This is a must do!!!! I’ve done several food tours but this might be the best one. Our guide (Jenny) was GREAT! She was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything and engaging with the group. The food stops were plentiful so come prepared to eat. This is an absolute must do if you are in Athens.

The tour guide was so knowledgeable - we had some amazing food and we got a fabulous walking tour of the Plaka region of Athens. She shared great history knowledge and made some amazing recommendations for our stay (places to visit, where to shop and eat). I highly recommend this experience!

Jenny was so energetic and knowledgeable. We had a nice eclectic group of about 12 people, and she kept us moving, informed, and EATING. It was a lot of really good street food - definitely a fun way to explore the city a little and try some classic Greek street foods.

Make sure you go hungry. Street food tour, but standing on the pavement at first stop not great. However, fabulous food and far too much of it but that's not a complaint. Good informative guide

Great food tour! Food stops were great and the guide, Emmy, was very friendly and informative. She provided interesting historical facts about all the foods we ate. Our 7 year old had no problem keeping up and enjoyed all the food, as well. Would highly recommend!

Great way to taste many of the traditional Greek foods and learn about food history. I wish we had done this tour early in our visit because it made understanding the food culture much better for the rest of our trip. The guide was great to talk with as we walked through the beautiful streets of Athens.

Fotis the guide for our Friday night food tour was SO awesome!! He is a local Athenian and such a charismatic friendly guy with tons of knowledge about Greek culture, history and of course, the cuisine. He took the time to ask about each of the attendees and hear a little of our story which created an inclusive, personable group dynamic! The value of this tour with the amount of food we got plus the vibes was 100% worth it! 5/5 stars best tour I took this trip! Come hungry as there is tons to sample! 3 mains and 3 desserts!

We are traveling with our teenage daughters and we all loved this food tour! Fotis was so fun and knowledgeable about all things pertaining to the history of Greek food. We tried several traditional foods and they were all quite tasty. We ended the tour being very full and satisfied. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

The Athens Street Food Walk was enjoyable. Check-in was smooth, and the pace was comfortable.
A highlight was exploring neighborhoods we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. The tour helped us get oriented and discover places to revisit. Tour guide was helpful at explaining each dish.
There was plenty of food, but it was mostly carbohydrate-based, and some flavors felt less vibrant than dishes we had on the Greek islands.
Overall, it was a worthwhile introduction to Athens, especially for first-time visitors.

If you are going to take a food tour, this is the one to take! Our guide took us through the various neighborhoods of Athens, explaining the culture and history along the way. She was very enthusiastic and took us to several authentic Greek street food locations. The food was incredible, and there was no shortage of it! There was no need for dinner after this tour! If you want a taste of authentic Greek street food, this tour can't be beat!
