Bubble net feeding!...

Bubble net feeding! Should I say more? We got super lucky and had a glorious day on the water with captain Larry, Sophie, and Gwen. We saw a lot - and I mean a LOT - of whales, experienced the frenzy of the feeding, while learning from the crew about these majestic animals. Also, big shout to Lexi for making the trip from and to Juneau so fun!

Double Breach!

Capt Patrick and Neil were great, and the weather was spectacular- though, of course it gets chilly out on the water. Just a perfect day. Then someone yelloed, “Breach!” And voila! A gentleman said, “The silly thing is we’re expecting it to happen twice.” He barely finished the sentence when it did! Wow. So many whales! Made my Alaska trip! It’s a little hard to find the cruise. You go to the Icy Strait Whale Adventures booth at the Excursion Hub, a short walk from the green gondolas.

Better than imagined

We absolutely loved our 4 hour trip. It was the perfect amount of time with plenty to see. We were fortunate to have captain Zach lead our tour. He shares a ton of useful knowledge about the sea life and surrounding land and honestly has such a great storytelling voice. We got lucky and had a beautiful day on the ocean with lots of sunshine and activity to see. We ended up seeing 2 humpback whales, puffins, sea otters, seals, sea lions and Dall’s porpoises. It couldn’t have been any better.

Enjoyable group experience

Marv was a great guide. His commentary on the history of the island was not only informational but very amusing. We only had about 2 hours at the Dole Plantation and I wished we had a bit more since we traveled with a big group of 12. Just make sure you follow Marv's advice and do the activities right away so you have time to peruse and enjoy the shops while consuming some dole whip at the end. I highly enjoyed the "optional stops" and my kids loved the souvenirs at each of the places. I highly recommend this well priced tour for all. It was a seamless process for pick up and drop off and the timing worked out very nicely for our group.

Best of the “City”

We had a fantastic time on the VW bus tour in San Francisco. The route covered many of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street and the Painted Ladies. The guide was knowledgable, entertaining, and shared interesting stories about the city’s history and culture. I highly recommend the tour to anyone looking for a fun and informative sightseeing experience!

Don’t Hesitate. Book this trip.

Wonderful experience. Had another cruise planned for that evening but just wanted to get out on the water sooner. The company was easy to deal with and accommodating. Captain was a descendant from original settlers to St Augustine. Very knowledgeable about local waterways, landmarks and even restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Cousin Darcy ROCKS!!!!

Definitely a great day. Cousin Darcy was charming and friendly. Lots of great island anecdotes. Make sure to confirm where you will be picked up. Donuts! Coffee! Dole pineapple whip!!! Some places do not take cash so have a card or Apple Pay ready. Great lunch plate (the spicy #3 shrimp is NO JOKE spicy… you are warned) Great trip for the driver in your group so you get a chance to view the island. Snorkeling spot was very muddy from recent rain but driver told us of alternate spots we could try on our own. And hiking trails. And beaches. Take notes for sites that are suggested that you’d like to revisit at your own pace.

Circle tour.

Our tour was great. John our driver was interesting, knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew of a great place for lunch and a park picnic. In spite of some rain showers, traffic and a closed road we had a wonderful day. We had a road closed at the North Shore of Oahu and he traveled around to help get as much as possible of the tour accomplished.

Great boat tour of Newport!

Viator was a safe and easy ticketing experience. Check in was simple- just had to give my name at the departure point kiosk. What an amazing cruise around Newport! Fabulous weather, comfortable aboard ship on top deck, and a great narrator told us highlights of the sights. Waiter service offered drinks too. Would do this again. Loved it! We even got to see the ocean liner, Queen Mary2. In the harbor!
