This was a great trip for those that like exploring on their own. We loved this trip. Our guide was great, she gave us a little background on where we were going and sent us all the information we needed via WhatsApp including where to go and also sent us an audio guide, and we were on our own to explore however we like. Highly recommend!

Our Half-Day Shore Excursion to Pisa and the Leaning Tower from Livorno was the perfect way to make the most of our cruise stop in Italy. From start to finish, everything was well organized, punctual, and stress-free—exactly what you want when you’re traveling on a cruise schedule. Our guide was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories about Pisa’s history, architecture, and culture. During the drive from Livorno, we learned so much about Tuscany and the surrounding countryside, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Even in the sweltering July heat, the guide kept the group comfortable, offered helpful tips for staying cool, and ensured everyone had plenty of time to explore and capture those iconic “holding up the Leaning Tower” photos. They struck the perfect balance between guided commentary and free time to wander the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli. Seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person was even more impressive than we imagined. The entire square, with its stunning cathedral and baptistery, is breathtaking and well worth the visit. This excursion was the perfect mix of history, beautiful scenery, and fun. If you’re docking in Livorno and want a memorable, worry-free way to experience one of Italy’s most famous landmarks, this tour is an excellent choice. We returned to the ship with incredible photos, wonderful memories, and a deeper appreciation for Tuscany and the city of Pisa. Highly recommended!

We’ve just been on this trip. Recommended. We had a lovely guide who was informative & engaging. Loved the bridges and the history. The weather was perfect. This was an amazing experience to be able to see other parts of Tuscany and get a break from the 15 000 steps a day. Being that it was private, we were able to customize the trip being that my wife's pregnant. He drove us everywhere we needed to go to make things easy as well as made great recommendations of must see places and Gelato stands.

Great trip! Bus had air conditioning and our host Luisa and driver Rodolfo made it great. Luisa even encouraged us to get tickets to go in the tower on the way there since we had not gotten them yet. Then, on the way back, Luisa had dinner recommendations. Lovely time!

Ivano was the best tour guide!!! We have done multiple guided museum tours, and Ivano has been the best by far. He was super kind, funny, and knowledgeable. The Accademia is a must do in Florence - seeing David was an experience I’ll never forget, and the background knowledge that Ivano provided really enhanced the experience.

The Pisa tour was amazing thanks to our guide, Ricardo, who so animatedly made the tour fun and informative. The climb to the top of the Pisa tower was well worth it. The view was astonishing. Although the time spent inside the cathedral was short, it was so beautifully decorated especially the ceiling. The surrounding buildings and grounds added to the overall beauty of this landmark. Pisa outshined the Lucca tour which was fine but lack the wow factor. The tour guide, Maximo, was very knowledgeable of the history of Lucca. Lucca had some interesting sites but when compared to Pisa, it wasn’t as impressive. A very special acknowledgment and profound thank you to our bus tour guide, Anthony, who ensured that we met our tour guides at each site and accompanied us to each event to make sure we returned to the bus. Last and not least, a big thank you to our tour bus driver, Simone, who’s expert driving safely took us to both sites and back to the initial pickup location. Definitely recommend this tour and hope that you have the pleasure of being assigned these great individuals.
