This was the highlight of our trip. I wish I could recall our guide’s name because he was incredibly wonderful and made for great conversation while we were wine tasting. I highly recommend this if you have the time and can drive manual. When else can you say you drove a vintage fiat through the vineyards in Italy?

A day we will never forget! The incredible countryside and fantastic wine were made even better by our guide. Paola was absolutely delightful, charming and incredibly knowledgeable of both the region and the wines. She made It fun and treated us like royalty. You could not pick better places to represent the magic of Tuscany. A special note- although the tour was to be 8 people, only my wife and I arrived so we had a private tour. I don’t think many or any other tour companies would have honored the commitment and followed through. For that we will be forever grateful.

Delightful Tuscany Tour

This is a spectacular tour. All the guides and driver were caring and friendly. I don’t recommend the tour for anyone who can’t walk well or up and down hills but that is out of the tour operators control. Siena was lovely and very pleasant. We saw a lot of Tuscany landscape and lathe bus ride was broken up into short trips. The wine tasting was world class and included a delicious lunch. The historical district of the first town visited was gorgeous. Then they saved Pisa until last and we had more than an hour to take pictures. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see Pisa because there are so many wonderful experiences on this day trip.

We had an amazing day trip to see the history and splendid town areas. Nathan was a wonderful leader and host! He was also very informative and gave us photo and phone tips we will employ forever forward! Thanks Nathan! The trip is long, over 10 hours total, but it goes by without thinking about it or feeling like it’s too long! The bus is smaller, and comfortable. Bring good walking shoes as you will log close to 8-10 miles +/-. It’s easy walking for the most part, and there’s so much to see and take in, you almost forget you’ve walked as much as you do, until you check your steps on your phone. Excellent tour to visit the sights of Pisa.

What a fabulous tour. Very clear instructions given regarding the meeting place. We were on a cruise so had to catch the shuttle into Livorno first. It was right where we had to meet up. Our guide, Valerie, was excellent. She ensured everyone was present before walking us a very short distance to the bus. She gave us very useful information on our journey and escorted us to the Tower location (about a 15 min walk). We then had around 2 hours to explore on our own before meeting to walk back to the bus. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in a restaurant above the museum on the square. It had open views of the tower and square. We didn’t purchase the ticket to go up the tower, but some on our coach did, and Valerie gave them separate instructions regarding this. No bags allowed up the tower, so these would be left on the bus. Quite safe, but something to bear in mind if you want to go inside. Would highly recommend this tour.

We absolutely loved our tour with Lorenzo! He was so fascinating to talk to and full of information and history! He took us to the best locations for scenic photos at all our stops and along the way! Magnificent experience!

Our tour guide was excellent. Seeing Michaelangelo's unfinished sculptures was a great lead-in to his masterpiece, David. We booked a 9:15am tour and by 10:00am we were still able to closely approach the David and easily see so much detail present in the figure. One hour later, the crowds had grown considerably. Highly recommend an early start to make it worthwhile!
