Massimo was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable and was the perfect driver for our day in Tuscany. He got us right from our hotel. Easy to communicate with. My husband and I had a great day in Tuscany. Our guide, Alex, was knowledgeable about the medieval towns we visited and gave us on point tips as to what to look for and do ant each stop. Rather than go to Pisa we chose to take a tour and then lunch at a vineyard in the Chianti region which was a really good choice. Overall, it was an enjoyable day to see the sights outside of Florence.

Massimo was very warm, funny, and extremely informative. He gave great advice on how we should visit the places in Florence. Pisa was interesting and very crowded. San Gimignano was an amazing Medieval town with interesting gelato and chocolate shops. The cafe served very quickly. The view over the Tuscan hills was amazing.
We loved the inside of the Siena cathedral.
We were stuck in a traffic jam due to an accident and Massimo kept his equanimity.
Massimo explained the countryside to us and we learned about cheese, olives, grapes and wild boars.

Massimo was great.
Cost was high given that it's per person when there is no financial impact to operator for additonal people.
Thought some of the admission fees were covered but none were.

Thank you for your feedback, it’s always constructive to receive any kind of review to help us improve every day. However, if I may, I would like to respectfully disagree with what you wrote, particularly on the following points:
- The cost breakdown of a tour, as is common for most tour operators, is per person. Logically, a group of only 2 people should not pay the same total amount as a group of 6 or more. Therefore, the cost per person is based on the number of participants. Considering the high quality of the services, the prestigious vehicle used (only Mercedes-Benz), and the professionalism of our drivers (who you also praised!), I believe the price for this tour is more than fair. This is also reflected in the high number of bookings we receive weekly.
- The entrance fees, lunch, and drinks are not included in the price of the tours, as clearly stated in the description. If, unfortunately, you did not read the entire description and stopped after just a few lines, that’s beyond our control.
Nevertheless, I’m glad to hear that you described your overall experience with us positively, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you as our guest again in the future. In the meantime, I wish you and your family all the best.

Great tour with a great guide. Sonny offered an alternative itinerary that perfectly met our interests. He introduced us to several beautiful Tuscan villages, ending with amazing Siena. Sonny was knowledgeable and patient with our many questions and our desire to take a zillion pictures.

Such an incredible day in Tuscany! Alex was fun, knew the most special villages, and areas with the most incredible views and brought us to them! We had a wine lunch and everything was just perfect! We learned so much and couldn’t have had a better experience!

Loved this tour of Tuscany. Our driver, Massimo was very accommodating and willing to adjust the schedule to our interests. He went above and beyond and arranged for a wine tasting with charcuterie in a lovely winery with terrific views of the Tuscan countryside. A+++++

We really enjoyed seeing the sites and different stops in Tuscany! The highlight was the vineyard lunch which we did instead of Siena. It was an additional cost, but just wonderful! Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable.

Our tour operator changed the day of our tour the week before our tour. We were ok with that. Although it made me nervous when all of the emails from Viator had our original date. When he arrived, a little late, he talked us out of three sites because he said there wasn’t time for all three. We paid for a 10 hour tour but he was convinced it was only 8 hours. So we skipped a stop and ended up with an 8 and a half hour trip. Instead of the trip being planned out for us he asked what we wanted to do. We have never been to Tuscany so we had no idea what we should see. We are not sure why we didn’t have the trip that was advertised. We basically had a driver only and no tour guide. He never gave us any helpful advice. We did not feel that we got what we paid for on this trip. All of our other Viator tours have been great.

- Our records indicate that the driver was punctual, arriving at your hotel by 8:20 am as scheduled, which was verified by the concierge. Unfortunately, there was a delay in your departure as you arrived at 8:40 am due to your wife not being ready.
- Prior to commencing the tour, our drivers customarily review the itinerary with customers and inquire about any specific requests or preferences. Although your original itinerary included stops in Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena, and Monteriggioni, you specifically requested to skip Siena. While the driver suggested substituting Siena with a visit to the Chianti region and a possible winery tour, this was declined by you. Consequently, the tour comprised three destinations instead of four, per your choice.
- It's important to note that our tours are advertised with an "English Speaking Driver," not a "Tour Guide." Our drivers excel at not only providing directions and navigating the area but also offering insights into local customs, traditions, and recommendations for restaurants and shops. However, it's essential to clarify that our drivers do not serve as official tour guides and are not authorized to conduct tours inside museums, churches, or archaeological sites. For such guided tours, an Official Local Tour Guide must be arranged and compensated separately, if required.
- Our driver Sonny is renowned for his polite demeanor, amiability, and discretion. He has conducted numerous tours, including "The Best of Tuscany," receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from satisfied customers, as evidenced by the extensive feedback available on our Tripadvisor page. It's surprising to hear that your experience with Sonny differed from the norm, as you appear to be the exception rather than the rule.

Our driver Sonny, was very professional and friendly. He was also very informative. He took us to Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni and a wonderful winery for wine tasting and sampling of local cuisine.

Going to Tuscany and having a wine tasting/lunch was high on our list of things to do in Italy. We booked this private tour and Aldo was our guide for the day. First of all we booked our EXPENSIVE private tour to Toscana in Spanish and when The driver came start the tour in English and we complained he was very rude saying was not his problem, Also he was trying to skip Pisa from the beginning because of traffic or something like this and we have to show him the program we bought. Tuscany was beautiful but I understand when we pay $700US we need to have what we bought not just the driver convenience.

We must respectfully disagree with the points raised in your review for several reasons:
1) Aldo, our esteemed driver, has been a valued member of our team since the beginning of 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently received glowing compliments and 5-star reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor. It's highly unusual and frankly perplexing to hear that he was perceived as rude during your tour. This behavior has never been reported before, and Aldo is simply not the type of person to behave in such a manner. We encourage you to peruse the reviews left by other clients to gain a better understanding of Aldo's character and professionalism.
2) Your reservation was made in English, and all communication between us leading up to the tour date was conducted in English. When Aldo first met you and learned that you were from Miami, he naturally began conversing with you in English. However, upon discovering that you had booked the tour in Spanish, he promptly switched to Spanish. We fail to see the issue here. Are you genuinely upset because he initially spoke to you in English for the first few minutes? It's worth noting that even your review is written in English, so we fail to comprehend the complaint.
3) Regarding the visit to Pisa, Aldo was merely trying to convey that there was significant traffic congestion on the highway, and it might be more prudent to visit Pisa in the afternoon instead of the morning. He had no intention of eliminating Pisa from the itinerary but was merely suggesting a change in the order of visits to optimize your experience.
4) Additionally, Aldo brought to our attention a rather unpleasant incident regarding your behavior. At the conclusion of the tour, the minivan was left in a rather untidy state, with garbage strewn about, including papers, crumbs, sand, and spilled soft drink. When Aldo brought this to your attention, your response was dismissive, stating that you had paid for a private tour and were not responsible for cleaning. As a result, Aldo had to spend an additional 30 minutes of his time cleaning up after you. In light of this, it begs the question of who truly exhibited rude behavior during the tour.
We hope this provides some clarity on the matter, and we remain at your disposal should you wish to discuss further.

Aldo was an outstanding guide that we would highly recommend. We spent the day with him in Tuscany and it was our favorite day in Florence. When we met Aldo in the morning he learned what we were most interested in and then helped build a customized tour for us. Aldo’s background in art history made the tour more than just the destinations along way too – we had the chance to really learn about the history of the region. I have Celiac’s Disease and cannot eat gluten, Aldo made sure there was a meal available when we opted for add on wine tasting. Aldo gave us restaurant recommendations and tips for the rest of our time in Florence. Thank you to Aldo, Max, and the team at Tuscany in Tour. This experience is one you won’t want to miss out on.

We had an amazing tour! Aldo was a wonderful guide. He provided great knowledge, wonderful recommendations, and cracked jokes the entire time. Our favorite part was the stop at the winery in the Chianti area with delicious food and 9 wine tastings! The scenery was simply breathtaking. This is a wonderful tour that makes the most out of your time in Florence. It is a long tour (around 10 hours) but definitely worth it!
