It was a beautiful day trip to see the 5 terrace islands. Our guide Laila was perfect! She gave us information about each location and then let us browse on our own! Her recommendations were spot on! She was still available if we needed her but she gave us space too!

Although the beauty of this area is unmatched,nothing about this tour was informative other than instructions where to meet and on what platform to take the next train.If you you not like huge crowds,this tour is not for you.You constantly find yourself in a position where you have to "fight" and do whatever it takes to find a spot on the train.

Dani was an awesome guide. Very energetic, cheerful, knowledgeable and organized. The sights on this trip are out of this world. It’s a long day with many transfers between bus, boat, and trains, but Dani made everything feel easy. A very unique experience, would highly recommend.

We were 5 minutes late to our meeting place because we were outside not at correct meeting place asked several locals where to meet and were told that spot.. In the past booking with Viator we were called ahead of time if we missed communications had happened.

I loved the boat ride after the bus ride. The views of the Italian coastline were amazing. I enjoyed shopping and eating in the little villages. We walked on the beach in Monterosa. I loved watching the children playing on the beach.

Juliano was our lovely and linguistically talented tour guide, along with two other lovely and also linguistically talented women who took care of two other groups that were with us. Each town was a site to see and experience, we loved every moment. We started our day meeting inside the Firenze Train Station Santa Maria Novella by the site seeing booth ~ this is an experience my husband and I will hold dear to our hearts forever.

So there was a train strike which forced us to go by bus and then boat…the bus consisted of 42 people in transit for two hours in each direction…the boat consisted of well over 100 passengers again in transit for an additional two hours each way…we went to two villages for about one hour and fifteen minutes…no explanation of the history or why these villages were chosen…in summary 8 hours in transit for 2 hours and 30 minutes of wandering around is a colossal waste of time. I think a refund is in order

This was such a wonderful day! We have never been to Italy and just wanted to see cinque terra, and this was perfect for that! We slept on the bus, and the tour was worth it to us to not have to figure out where to go and how to navigate trains and whatnot. We felt like we’d had plenty of time to sightsee and wander at each stop. We had a lovely sit down lunch at monterosso. Some people had said that a day trip to cinque terra wouldn’t be enough but it was for us! Depends on how you like to travel. For our first time, it was PERFECT!

No boat, blamed weather. Many attendees got lost and left behind. Unorganized and unpleasant guide. Guide claimed to be more famous than Michael Jackson and Beyonce.,
I felt neglected and uncared for. No knowledge of the area shared. Guide talked constantly about nothing. Repeated often to never ask for English, never ask for the toilet, never say we couldn't see her nor find her.
Weather was great, very dissatisfied to be cheated of the boat tour. We could have took the train our self for this high price. We got left at some odd location then had to walk to the train station. It was not a good trip at all. Zero stars.

It was a one time experience and I can atleast say I did it.... well never go back again...WAY TOO OVER CROWDED and actually overrated... the beaches were amazing but the towns was expensive and run down.. pics on the internet basically lied

Ilary and Caterina did a great job with our tour to Cinque Terre! A friend recommended this tour to us and it was excellent. We visited 4 of the 5 main towns. The logistics were smoothly coordinated. The day had a good pace and flew by. Highly recommend!

For this event, Viator used only WhatsApp for communication. This was not previously specified for this trip, so my initial texts were ineffective. The directions where to meet were at times confusing & conflicting. In the Viator app, day before the tour, I wanted to clarify the time to meet and was only told bare minimum. "meet at 6:50 instead of 7:00am", there was not the usual comments of exactly where to meet or color of guide jacket or flag which would have helped identify our group. Originally, it stated to meet inside the train station, odd since we were not taking the train, the reply included a picture of a tiny red bus (font 4) was also received along with the time. So, we were outside the train station at 6:40am, now looking for a red bus. As time pressed on, we were asking other guides if we belonged to their group, then ultimately directed inside the busy train station, walk down to Information, hang a left and go to a specific tour company. We did, was there by 7:00am, but they already left. We endured additional cost to navigate the train system and caught up with our tour group at the 3rd, out of 4, locations of Cinque de Terre. I THINK IN ALL FAIRNESS WE SHOULD BE REFUNDED AT LEAST 50% of the cost. This was intended to be a highlight of our trip but ended up being quite a disappointment in the company's directions. Like another tour taken, we should have met in the same parking lot that they dropped us off at the end of the tour.

Absolutely loved this trip. We had a very small group, so might be different with a larger one, but beautiful place to visit. Dany was an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Coach driver 5 stars. Plenty of time in each stop. Greats views. Definitely recommend:)

Unforgettable Day in Cinque Terre with Ilaria and Catarina
We recently had the absolute pleasure of exploring four of the five stunning villages of Cinque Terre with Ilaria and Catarina, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From the moment we started, it was clear we were in expert hands.
Here are a few reasons why they made our trip so special:
• Expert Navigation & Clarity: Managing a group through the winding paths, train platforms, and crowded plazas of Cinque Terre is no small feat. Ilaria and Catarina provided incredibly clear directions, ensuring that everyone—regardless of their pace or focus—knew exactly where to go and what time to meet.
• Incredible Patience: Our group naturally had a few stragglers who wanted to take just one more photo or duck into a local shop. Both guides handled this with grace, never making anyone feel rushed while still keeping us perfectly on schedule to see all four cities.
• Humor and Personality: What truly set them apart was their sense of humor. They kept the energy high all day long, sharing laughs and stories that turned a standard tour into a genuinely fun experience.
Ilaria and Catarina are two guides we will remember for many years to come. If you are looking for a seamless, informative, and joyful way to experience this beautiful part of Italy, look no further!

The activity starting time is wrong. They say that it's at 7 am but the bus left at 6:56 am. Their was no refund or apologies and was only offered a 10 percent discount on another trip. Bad customer service. Get your Guide has better tours and definitely better customer service

What an incredible tour, this was a highlight of our trip to Italy! Our host, Stanislava, was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I felt like we had just enough time in each of the villages. Such a beautiful destination and the guidance on the top areas to visit in each village meant we were able to maximize our time, while still feeling relaxed. Make sure you arrive on time with the required 15 min early, they'll leave on time to make sure they can time the transfers properly since you use the public trains between the villages.

This was a great tour. Our tour guide Chiatra was amazing. She was informative and had a great personality. Our group was large and had to be split into two groups and both guided were in sync during the tour.

I gave four starts because the food tasting street was not worth it and the package was supposed to be 5 villages but we visited 4 (misleading information).
