Meet just steps from the central Santa Maria Novella train station to board the air-conditioned coach and settle in for a scenic drive from Florence through the Tuscan countryside. Stop at a winery in the Chianti Classico hills for a tour of the vineyard, production areas, and barrel room before relaxing over a tasting of three wines and local olive oil.
After free time to make purchases (optional; own expense), board the bus for the short drive to the second Chianti Classico winery to visit the estate and compare production methods. Cap off your tour with a wine tasting of three different labels paired with Tuscan olive oil, cheese, cold cuts, and other local specialties. Opt to browse the winery shop to select gourmet souvenirs to take home before the bus transfer back to the departure point.

- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

Amazing! My husband and I did the Tuscany wine tour and it was amazing, they gave us so much wine and was surprised by the amount of food: bread, olive oil, meats and cheese. I was very full by the end! Also our host Valentina was so knowledgable and personable and fun! She also was always willing to take photos and show us the great photo spots. The driver Alesso (Alex?) was also amazing, he was also showing us the best photo spots which was so helpful. Cannot recommend this tour and our hosts enough! We had the best time!!

This vineyard tour was part of one of my favorite days of my life. The driver and tour guide were so nice, fun, and knowledgeable. The vineyards and wines were spectacular. It was so fun to have a hands on experience with other travelers.
Excellent tour! Our guide (Mateo, I believe ) was fun and interesting. The transport was a comfortable, air-conditioned bus with a fantastic driver. Loved this tour!
Small group experience into Tuscany to two wineries. Outstanding guide and great venues with wine and some snacks. Great experience
The meeting spot was easy to find & as described. We rode in a smaller bus that held ~20 people - a comfortable ride with Daniel/Daniele providing some interesting stories about Florence as we left the city.
Both wineries were up in the Tuscan hills about 30 minutes SW of the city. We really enjoyed both wineries tastings - one at a smaller family winery and a bit larger one. Each tasting was accompanied by light appertivos and the presenters were fun and interesting. The smaller winery also had olive oil and honey available for purchase. We enjoyed the tasting and chatting with a few couples who were also on the tour - highly recommend!!
This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence! Our guide, David, was amazing! He gave us the history of the area while driving us to the wineries. The wineries were beautiful and the hosts were wonderful as well.
Fabulous wines from knowledgeable hosts.
We really enjoyed tasting the different wines and getting some information about the wines themselves. Served with a small snack that increased the enjoyment.
However, the bus journey was a different story. Our bus driver was no different to any other I am sure, with aspirations to be a formula one driver. Several of our companions were also unhappy with the driving as the bus lurched along the roads at a breakneck speed. Pretty sure that the suspension or dampers had long ago given up. Not a coincidence that all the seats were supplied with sick bags.
Sadly, this would put me off recommending this experience.
We found the starting point easily. We saw the table and the men there were very friendly. We immediately were introduced to our excellent tour guide David! Wow what a rescue this guy has and the knowledge of the area was amazing! He talked to us about the history of Florence all the way to the first winery. It was a wonderful day tasting the wines, easy to ship home 6 bottles and they were all so kind and appreciative. As luck would have it think I selected the best tour! It was only 8 total on a small van. We left at 2:30 and were back where we started at 7:30pm. The food was light and appropriate for the tastings and we arrived in the city in time to walk to a nice restaurant and have a dinner outside. Perfect day!
This was a wonderful experience! Matteo and Antonio both did a fantastic job! We enjoyed the tips, stories and assistance in getting perfect pictures! Both vineyards were wonderful and everyone had a good time!

I would highly recommend this trip. David and the staff at both wineries were knowledgeable and friendly.
The guide, Jason, was friendly, engaging, full of energy and had the ability to make the whole tour group laugh. He was also very knowledgable about the area.
The driver, Antonio, seemed to share the same personality traits as Jason.

Fun educational trip to two wineries. Marco are host and Alex our driver were entertaining and full of information. The wineries hosted us with bread, cheese, meats, great wines, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The views of the Tuscan countryside were spectacular and the bus was full of music, singing and laughter. Highly recommend for a relaxing day on a hectic vacation. Grazie!!
You are brought to two different vineyards. Both were well organized. But the second one’s location is what everyone dreams of seeing the rolling hills and the beautiful Tuscany ranch with the stone pine trees and the rows and rows of vines.
A wonderful trip from start to finish. Our guide (Alessia) was enthusiastic and informative as she told us about the countryside we were passing through as well as giving information about the wines we were to meet. Vincenzo drove us carefully, quickly and safely through the area. Both of the wineries were interesting and we had a fulsome tour as well as some delicious wines and olive oils to taste. At both wineries there were opportunities to buy their produce but we felt that it wasn’t a heavy sales talk. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Jason was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. He was also very entertaining. We learned about the different kinds of wines produced in the Chianti region as well as the differences between various olive oils. It was a well planned tour and we would highly recommended it.

We did a half day wine tour and visited 2 wineries. That was the perfect amount of time for us. Our guide was great and the hosts are the wineries were also very welcoming.
If you wanted to see Tuscany…this is it! The driver Andres to each winery was an amazing time and full of history.

During the tour, we got huge amount of information about wines of Chianti, how it is produced and how it should be tasted. If it should be summarized to couple of issues - Chianti Classico, and black rooster (guarantee of quality)
What a great afternoon! We visited two wineries and learned a lot for our hosts. It was rainy for part of the tour but the hosts made us comfortable, when the clouds passed it was such a breathtaking view. Sampled many wines paired with snacks. A great value and a beautiful experience
