Had a great visit with our guide Neo! He was friendly, kind, and very patient with us throughout the day. He safely drove us from stop to stop, pointed out the highlights of each location, helped take our photos, and even suggested some great photo spots. We really appreciated his positive attitude and willingness to make sure we enjoyed our day. The only thing I would mention for future guests is that we didn’t fully understand the format of the tour beforehand. We had expected our guide to accompany us into each attraction and provide more guidance during the stops, such as helping us purchase tickets, recommending popular local foods and snacks, and sharing more history and local insights while we explored. Instead, the tour primarily consisted of transportation between locations with free time to explore on our own. This wasn’t Neo’s fault at all—he provided the service exactly as the tour was designed. We simply wish we had known what to expect beforehand so our expectations matched the experience. Overall, this was still a highlight of our trip, and we’re grateful to Neo for showing us everything he could and making the day enjoyable. Thank you, Neo!

Every site could be a whole day experience, be mindful of your time. Traffic can impact your plans in your missed your window. Bring a backpack to carry your trash.

Guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. Gave great insight on locations were going to along with the routes we were taking, history of places we would probably have never heard of. He joined us for lunch and guided us in ordering food we would, again, probably have never ordered and would have missed out on some fabulous food. He was very clear on how to find our return locations and on one occasion was able to guide us to a return location after we became lost just by taking pictures and sending them to him. It was a very enjoyable tour. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Our driver was not Japanese. Knew very little about the historical context and couldn’t provide anecdotal accounts let alone recommendations for authentic Japanese food. He dropped us off at a tourist trap after explicitly requesting a local place. The noodles and soup were awful.
It was unbearably hot and they couldn’t pivot dynamically to adapt to an indoor only request for a family with 3 kids even though we had requested it in our request.
Would have really appreciated a Japanese tour guide who can speak English with context in culture and this city.
Dont buy these viator deals in Tokyo bc it is an inauthentic experience and not even comfortable. Complete waste of $450 usd !!!

We had an excellent time touring Tokyo with our driver Neo. Neo was very nice and accommodating to our schedule. He was knowledgeable and informative about the tourist spots we were visiting and ensured we had sufficient time for places we wanted to see. Neo even did a quick stop, so my wife could pick up some merchandise that she had purchased the day prior and was ready on our tour day. Very much appreciated.

Our tour around Tokyo was great. Our tour guide, Asi, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Tokyo. He made the experience fun despite the rainy day which slowed things down for us. The tour does a good job of touching the major sites of Tokyo especially since the city is so big and widespread.

Since minute one, our Driver was polite, did speak English very well and knew the city and whereabouts, he got to the hotel on time, drove us and explained every detail about the places, waited patiently while we were at the attractions or places since parking is hard to find for him, but that gave us the feeling of freedom but at the same time we knew someone was taking care of us, we totally recommend Neo and this company for everyone who would like to visit Tokyo, Japan

Our tour guide, Rana, was truly professional and knowledgeable about all the locations. We started our tour at 8 AM, and Rana was punctual. The day was cloudy and rainy, so we first headed to Chureito Pagoda (🗼). We climbed 400 steps, took great photos, but didn’t see Mount Fuji due to clouds. Next, we visited Lake Kawaguchiko (🏞️). Rana suggested a speedboat (🚤), but we skipped it and enjoyed a walk. Then, we took a chance and went up to Mount Fuji’s 5th Station (🗻). Fortunately, we got a full clear view! We stopped at both the 4th and 5th stations, and Rana took many photos for us. Afterward, we visited a shrine on the way down and finally explored Oshino Hakkai Village (🏘️) with its ponds and old houses. We ended our day heading back to Tokyo with a quick coffee stop (☕). Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend requesting Rana as your tour guide!”

The tour was completely customizable. Ali provided a potential itinerary and we added some things and took other things off. We were picked up and dropped off in front of the hotel. Our driver, Ali, dropped us off at the entrance or across the street from the entrance at each stop.

We had a fantastic day in Tokyo with our private guide Jonny. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the Japanese culture and history. He allowed us to tailor our experience to the places we really wanted to see and were allowed all the time we wanted at each location. It made it very memorable as we saw the attractions we were most interested in and never felt we were rushed to enjoy as long as we wished. Many great places we explored and Jonny made it possible to limit the walking when we needed a little break. I couldn’t recommend this experience enough for enjoying Tokyo with a great guide willing to allow us to enjoy all the places we were interested in visiting.

We had a wonderful day touring Tokyo with Ali as our guide. He took our group to many of the city’s most famous attractions and made sure we got the most out of our limited time in Tokyo.
Ali was a safe and efficient driver who kept the tour moving smoothly throughout the day. He shared useful information and local insights about the areas we visited, giving us a better understanding of Tokyo from a local perspective. I especially appreciated hearing his personal views and experiences, which added a unique touch to the tour.
The tour was scheduled for 9 hours, but our group became tired after a full day of sightseeing, so we chose to finish after about 8 hours. Ali was very accommodating and understanding of our needs, ensuring everyone remained comfortable and enjoyed the experience.

The tour was a glorified taxi service, Utah was a good driver but all he did was drive us to tourist attractions, dropped us off, gave us time to explore and picked us up again to head to the next spot. There was no explanation, no guided tour of the area and he was not really a welcoming driver. He was flexible to exchange one tourist attraction for another, but overall we were disappointed.

Originally we were worried about finding our guide at the cruise terminal. However, turns out that Tokyo port only allows one cruise ship at a time, so connecting was easy. Our driver parked right next to the exit and walked over to find us. Tokyo is second largest population in world, so for us, the private car made the site seeing easy. We drove all around the city, being dropped off and picked up at each site. When needed, our driver, Luke, escorted us to a destination. His recommendation for a lunch restaurant was appreciated and a great choice. We asked lots of questions and he knew the answers. He was very informative along the way.

We had only one full day and two half days in Tokyo. The full day tour was best for us to see everything we hoped. Our guide Tony went out of the way to help our 7 year old have a fantastic day!

Great customizable private tour. Ali was very informative and helpful since I needed help with my wheelchair. Ali was very patient and courteous and cool driving in the crazy traffic of Tokyo.
My wife and I are glad Ali made helpful suggestions as to our itinerary, which changed due to his suggestions. We will not do giant group tours anymore!

On our first day in Tokyo, our driver Tony showed us all around Tokyo, including shrines, temples, sights and a great restaurant for lunch. We never felt rushed and he adapted the itinerary to our interests and suggested sights we hadn’t thought of. Tony was extremely knowledgeable and personal and we had a great time on our tour! I highly recommend doing this tour - it was especially helpful for us as we’d arrived late the night before and weren’t up to public transportation and we saw so much that we would’ve missed on our own.
