We had a fantastic time with Alex seeing the palaces and scenery in Sintra. Alex started us at Pena palace, filling in the background of its history and adding in tidbits about the landscape. Off we went to various other parts of the city but the star of the show was Quinta da Regaleira. Alex’s knowledge of this place made it almost mythical. Highly recommend this trip and guide.

Don’t Worry, It will All Be Good!

If you are like my wife and I, we are very anxious when we are making a decision to book any kind of travel experience in a foreign country. Rest assured that while this support may cost a bit more than your comps, it is more than worth it considering the extra cost benefits (tickets to the attractions, water, travel in A/C car). Our guide was in contact at least two weeks in advance and showed up exactly where we had planned. The rest of the day went perfectly (and we are fussy) with no complaints about the cost. Ask for Patricia, wear your best walking shoes and shorts and good travels!!

Perfect way to explore Sintra with kids at a leisurely pace. Our tour guide Miguel is the best, do not hesitate to ask for him if you have kids. Even my 3 yr old had a great time and was entertained despite all the walking through the palaces. Everything was planned seamlessly, from the pickup with the requested carseat to navigating through the hectic lines at the sites (no wait is a plus and a must if you have little ones!). Stoping in Caiscais briefly for the beach and gelato at Santini was also a plus. We truly felt VIP with this experience.

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Sintra with Bruno as our private guide and driver, and we couldn't have asked for more. Excellent full day tour of Sintra sights and coast

We were skeptical about doing a guided tour for Sintra. My wife and I were going to go on our own via train/bus. But then I read the reviews that spoke so highly of Bruno, and thought it would be nice not to have to worry about any logistics. Turned out there was a transit strike on the day of our tour. So it sure is a good thing we didn’t try to go on our own. Bruno picked us up on time and offered us options to customize the day. I think we ended up doing the standard grouping of activities, and it worked out very well. We saw so much! Being on a private tour all day with someone has the possibility to be weird if you don’t like the tour guide. This was not an issue at all. Bruno is so nice and welcoming and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed our time with him. He’s great at his job, and seems like an overall great person. We are very happy we did this tour with him, as we learned a lot and saw a lot - with some short periods of time mixed in to explore the town of Sintra and Cascais on our own. Beautiful! And easy! Don’t overthink it, leave it all to Bruno, see all the highlights, and have a great time.
