Sintra was so beautiful! Very clean and quaint. Our tour guide, Nir, pointed out interesting things that we would have walked right past. So much history and beauty at Sintra!

The tour was canceled 30 min before the beginning of the tour by notifying with a message per WhatsApp, which I received one hour later. We were traveling to the meeting point at that time anyway . If you cancel a trip short term, at least it warrants the call to confirm people received the message.

Claudia is a great tour guide. She has lots of information and delivers it in an interesting and amusing way, with a bit of drama thrown in. She is experienced and took good care of our relatively large crowd for 2 and one-half hours that went by quickly. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed it! Great tour, very informative and gives you a good overview of Sintra. But please do this ONLY if you’re fit-we had one lady in the group that had mobility issues and a bad back!!! please if you have mobility issues book a private tour. It took so much away from the experience of the rest of the group as we had to slow down/tweak the tour to accommodate that.

The tour did say it would last for 2.5 hrs. Maybe it was there were only 4 people joining the tour, our guide cut the tour in less than a hour. He just gave us 5 mins to buy the pastries and go to the bathroom. How short the time was! To be fair, our guide was knowledgeable. Just the real experience time was far behind 2.5 hrs of the official tour time.for the real tour. I even didn’t know where is the Pene Sintra Palace was. Disappointing.
I did have very good experience with free tour in other countries. The guides were knowledgeable and you could feel their passion. So at the end you were very willing pay them the gratitude that were more than I wanted to pay initially.

We had an outstanding tour of Sintra with our guide, Cata! She was not just knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about the history and charm of Sintra. She didn’t just recite facts, she brought the city to life with fascinating, lesser-known stories and hidden gems that made the experience even more enriching. Catalina made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend, and by the end of the tour, we found ourselves in love with Sintra and eager to continue exploring on our own.
