- Weight Limit 250lbs per seat**Max 500 per boat, closer to max, slower the boat will go.
- Each person must sign waiver for self/guardian.
- Please arrive at least 20 minutes early so we can go over boat/water instructions. Also tours leave on time if you are more than 10 min late we will leave without you and you will not get a refund. If an emergency please call us before and we can work something out.
- Driver is required to be above the age of 18, have a valid Drivers License and not be under the influence of Alcohol.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

This was a great outing. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. I was a bit concerned after booking the Hydro Cats since my wife and I are on the older side and my wife doesn’t really feel comfortable around water since she doesn’t swim. Turns out the boats are very stable and we both were very safe. The guides were great and extremely friendly. I highly recommend giving it a try.

It’s awesome! Make sure you take the coats they offer as you’ll want them. They also offer you a dry bag and have a nice little storage area where you can keep things dry so the customer doesn’t have to worry about it. It’s so fun you’ll love it!

Katie and Dan (I believe that is his name) were our amazing guides and were so much fun to spend a few hours with. We weaved and wove through the bay, bumped about the waves, cranked up the speed, then slowed it down when we went through the canals, seeing some pretty amazing houses and the icing on the cake was when a dolphin appeared just 8' from our boat, for the briefest of moments. A perfect way to spend part of our afternoon. Just book it, you won't be disappointed!

Let me begin by saying that I can see where this would be an amazing tour on a day that the waters are calm! The employees were very kind and helpful, so that was a plus.
Our experience was that we had booked a tour for later in the afternoon on the day of our tour, but they contacted us to see if we could go on an earlier tour that day because the winds were going to be too high and the water was going to be too choppy for the afternoon tour. They really, really should’ve canceled our tour as well, because the water was entirely too choppy. Not a good situation to put a beginner Hydro Cat driver in and not fun getting blasted with so much ocean water that you can’t see out of your sunglasses.
Additionally, there was no “tour” to it whatsoever. We had no idea what we were even looking at as we passed by because all we did was follow the lead through the water. We didn’t stop anywhere. Period. End of “tour.”
If you get the call asking you to schedule for an earlier tour because the winds are going to get too high and the water will be too choppy, schedule for another day.

The actual machine was fun and great to ride. It was a little bit rough the day we went. There was no sightseeing, we drove out to a very small sandbar and drove back. They did drive in large circles a few times, I thought they might commentate on a site we should look at, but there was no commentating, hence no sightseeing. I felt the price was high for the activity.

We had such a great time yesterday on the Hydro Cats. The owners are the ones that did the tour they were amazing. This is one of the best things I have ever done in Florida.

We did the HydroCats ride with my family, and it was such a blast! The water wasn’t exactly calm, which actually made it even more fun — just the right mix of speed, splash, and excitement. We even spotted dolphins along the way! The boats were easy to handle, the guides were great, and the views around Sarasota Bay were beautiful. Totally recommend it!

This was so much fun!!!! My husband and I had a blast! The owners are super nice and take lots of pictures for you! Unfortunately, we barely saw a dolphin fin but that wasn't for their lack of trying! You will NOT regret doing this!!

As a family we choose the Sarasota area to vacation. We tried parasailing, a kayak tour, went to a couple well known beaches , and the hydrocat tour. The hydrocat tour was by far the best. The owners were absolutely amazing and kept us safe. From touring around Siesta Key and Lido Key from the water to watching dolphins play 2' from our boat. This made our teenagers day and trip. We would do this again and highly recommend this tour if you are in the area. We give this a 12 out of 10
