I suggest booking with Maya tours they did an excellent job planning for some last minute changes to the popes schedule. With our skilled guide Debra we were able to navigate the Vatican with Priority access to many areas.. she alone was beyond fabulous getting us and sharing her knowledge combined with a perfect photo ops I would suggest always booking with maya tours to ensure you have the best experience possible we really loved it completely memorable

We had a great experience on this tour around the Vatican City and its many areas. Chiara was a very knowledgeable and attentive guide who gave us lots of informations, answered all questions and gave us great recommendations for after the tour too! Would 100% recommend! Overall, well worth the money, especially when we saw the queues outside.

This was the first tour of our trip to Rome, and was an excellent way to begin from a view of history (and physically, as the tour covers a lot of ground and steps, but totally worth it). Our guide, Haythim, was fantastic and absolutely loved his perspective and knowledge base. He was made a point to keep track of the group and give times to get water and rest). Absolutely incredible experience!

Highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing time learning about the history of the Colosseum and the surrounding areas. We even brought our stroller and two year-old with us. Our guide was so accommodating and interacted with our daughter in such an awesome way! The history we learned was so rich. It was a quick moving group, which was great for kids. There was also access to areas that gave a better perspective of the Colosseum. We would highly recommend this tour!

Incredible Experience

Walking the colosseum is a must! You get to see the structure from the inside out from many angles. Despite the cold weather, the tour was still great. Unfortunately, I’m blanking on our tour guide’s name, but he was a charming intellect with an infectious laugh, and incredible intellect about all we’ve seen. Very glad to have been apart of the tour!

While very informative and well done, the crowds were insane. Our guide did everything in her control to make sure each of us had our questions answered and to have good views of all important highlights. Would highly recommend this tour but maybe at a slower time.

We had a wonderful time on our 3-hour Rome golf cart tour! Our guide, Karim, was personable, knowledgeable, and fun, which made the experience even better. It was a great way to see Rome comfortably while learning so much about the city’s history and landmarks. We also really appreciated the excellent communication regarding our time change and pick-up location. Everything was smooth, easy, and well organized. The best tour experience I have ever had!

This was hands down the best experience I have had in a long time! I have done many, many tours. I have done many, many tours that have been incredible so believe me when I say that this tour was extraordinary! The Italian/German tour guide (I forgot his name 😬 ) was absolutely hilarious. The other people on the tour, by sheer luck, were absolutely charming and delightful. And the food? Ah the food! Exceptional! We learned a tremendous amount of fascinating facts about the food, the wine, Italy, Rome, Trastavere. I came back to my hotel on such a high. If I could experience something like that on a regular basis, I could give up my antidepressants 😆

Do it!

Very informative! Our guide Christina is an archeologist by profession and has worked at Pompei excavating. She is extremely knowledgeable as a historian and was totally geeking out in all of the best ways possible. She was extremely enthusiastic and informative giving us information on even the smallest details. I have done this tour 3x in my life and she taught me things I’ve never learned. We spent 2 hours in the Colosseum alone and she took us to areas where we could get the best pictures. Overall well worth the tour if you have any interest in seeing the Colosseum arena level, upper areas as well as the surrounding Ancient Rome. My son and I unfortunately cut our tour short because we had a plane to catch but don’t hesitate to book this!
