Great food tour experience with our guide Riccardo. He was great! Rome is very crowded at the time of tour, he was always keeping an eye on everyone so we didn't get separated. Stopped at several restaurants and pastry shops where he explained the history and some info about the owners. A great evening. Highly recommend! He also took the time to walk us to the right location to get safe transportation to the hotel. Great experience 👍

Our guide Gorgio was excellent! He was very personable and knowledgable. He kept us engaged while giving us a lot of information but not overwhelmed. The underground tour of the Colosseum is fantastic. Our guide, Teddy, was a goldmine of information about what went on behind -- or under -- the scenes of events held at the Colosseum. And you get good insight into how the Colosseum was built. Then you get to spend as much time as you want aboveground. This tour is definitely worth it.

5 star only because Magda (our guide) was wonderful. However, prior to the tour our tour time changed originally at 10 am and then to 3 pm. We were notified the day prior. I messaged to confirm the change through the booking site, but didn’t hear back. I then received a message for start time of 3:30 pm, but to arrive 20 minutes early. I got a call at 3 pm that the guide was waiting for us, luckily we were in the area only a minute from the meeting point, but when we got there they said she had already started the tour and we could skip the first half and wait for her at the last part. I had called to speak to someone and showed the message to the person at the meeting spot who took a picture of it and sent it to someone else. It was very chaotic, but thankfully Magda waited for us to get through security for the start of the tour. She was wonderful and very informative.

Worth the money!

I toured with my 19 yr old son. Our guide Juliana was exceptionally knowledgeable. Her answers were insightful and we enjoyed the rhetorical or thought-provoking questions and interaction. She made sure needs were met and that we all stayed together. We are glad we had a guide to lead us where to go, give us the stories and interact, making it so much more powerful of a visit than walking through on our own. The meet spot was easy to find and instructions given ahead of time were very helpful for us to prepare. We highly recommend this tour. It's near constant walking with many stairs so good walking shoes are a must.

Do it!

Very informative! Our guide Christina is an archeologist by profession and has worked at Pompei excavating. She is extremely knowledgeable as a historian and was totally geeking out in all of the best ways possible. She was extremely enthusiastic and informative giving us information on even the smallest details. I have done this tour 3x in my life and she taught me things I’ve never learned. We spent 2 hours in the Colosseum alone and she took us to areas where we could get the best pictures. Overall well worth the tour if you have any interest in seeing the Colosseum arena level, upper areas as well as the surrounding Ancient Rome. My son and I unfortunately cut our tour short because we had a plane to catch but don’t hesitate to book this!
