What are people saying about Rome

The Vatican museums,...
The Vatican museums, Sistene Chapel and St. Peter’s basilica are some of the must-see attractions for a first visit to Rome—and that is confirmed by the size of the crowds. There is no alternative but to shuffle along with the masses through the proscribed route. That being the case, this tour was well worth it to skip the line (which wound all around the perimeter) and for the excellent commentary from our guide, Fabiano. His detailed explanation (with visual aids) of the Sistene Chapel really enhanced the experience of viewing the real thing. They did a nice job with in a difficult environment. Our tour was at 10am and the Vatican was already very crowded. I would recommend booking the earliest tour slot you can to help minimize the crowds.

Two Forks, One Map review
Davide (aka TheDavid) was great!! Walking with him was like following a witty history teacher who offered many fun and interesting details. We were immersed in the past, learning how Ancient Rome and the Vatican were connected. This was one of the best tours during our stay in Italy… and Davide was a big reason for that.

Amazing tour with Francesca!
The tour of the Vatican was amazing! Franseca was very informative and extremely kind. She definitely did not rush. Someone in the group was slow on the stairs and Franseca kindly waited for them. She also was open to any and all questions and showed a lot of passion for the Vatican and her profession. If you can, request Franseca as your guide. You’ll be 100% glad you did.

True skip the line tickets
Really worth it. Our leader met us at the designated spot and walked us all the way to the entrance gate to ensure we were able to genuinely skip the line. She was so friendly and engaging, explained the layout of the Vatican and what to expect and provided a map with suggestions of where to start

No stranger to tourists, the city and its top attractions fill up fast. Even early on a Monday morning, you won’t be the only one climbing the stairs at the Colosseum, touring the Vatican Museums, or admiring ancient frescoes at Castel Sant’Angelo. If you don’t want to spend hours waiting in a ticket line that wraps around the block, book Rome tickets and passes in advance. You’ll get to skip the queues and make the most of your limited time in the Eternal City.
