I loved my trip in the...
I loved my trip in the Vespes side car trip with my Driver Simon. He was fun, drove like Italians drive...and gave me an exhilarating, fast and fun ride through the streets of Rome....getting a street level view of the traffic and Rome. It was also getting dusk and the lights were beginning to come on that gave everything a magical glow. I would highly recommend to take a twilight ride. It was just three of us on this tour, the other couple drove/rode their bike and I sat and enjoyed the sights from the side car. I must say that it was THE highlight of my time in Rome. Our driver/tour guide Simon even went BEYOND the call of duty by arranging a cab back to my hotel from our drop off point, which was quite aways back to my hotel. I thank him for his over-the-top customer service and high marks for this touring. If you can Ask for Simon when you book this....

Awesome tour with a great guide
Maham was so knowledgeable and funny. She presented the information and stories in such an interesting way that almost immediately grabbed our attention and held it the whole time. The tour was great and she was a wonderful guide. The one problem on our trip in particular is there were a couple younger children who kept interrupting and being over involved making it harder to stay immersed in the story though that has no bearing on Maham as she handled it like a champ and kept the entire group involved so overall a wonderful experience.

Wonderful tour
We absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was informative and friendly. The guide that we had in the catacombs was awesome and so easy to understand. Be aware if you book this tour that there are a lot of steps to go up and down as well as walking on very rocky roads that would be impossible for a walker or wheelchair to maneuver, so if that is a difficulty you might want to reconsider this tour. We had to cancel one of our people out when we found out how many steps there actually were. Other than that everything went smoothly and was very enjoyable.

My partner and I thought this tour was fantastic! Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and clearly had a lot of experience - the stories were delivered smoothly and succinctly at each stop but in a conversational manner with a lot of passion and enthusiasm for Rome's dark history and the people that feature within it. If, like me, you like to use ghost tours as a way to walk the lesser-known back streets of a city and to take in the vibes and the character that way, then this tour is also perfect for you. We passed through some stunning side streets and back alleys, each one brimming with charm, history and beautiful architecture to draw the eye. We also passed through what seemed like a pretty chiq neighbourhood with many intriguing bars and restaurants (we will definitely return to). Finally, the views of the basilica and the river from the bridge as the sun was setting were gorgeous, all whilst being entertained by macabre tales of Rome's dark side! What's not to love?
