Worth it - Lovely boat ride to see the puffins…and seals!
We booked this boat because it had a covered heated inside with window seating as well as outside seating. Perfect to stay warm to go see the puffins wearing our normal layered weather-appropriate clothing. Our guide and boat captain were friendly and knowledgeable. We got up close to the island, saw the adorable puffins, ducks, turtles, many other sea birds and an even a couple of seals. Some adults and kids volunteered to take turns driving the boat back to the marina. Thank you for making parking and this outing easy, fun and memorable!

Touring the lava tunnels!
This experience was much better than I anticipated. The old lava tunnel was really neat to walk through, and our guide provided a lot of interesting facts along the way. It's so cool to experience the temperature changes, see the result of years and years of ancient lava flow and then be plunged into complete and total darkness towards the end of the tunnel/tour to see just how daunting it would be in a place like that without the use of headlamps or lights. Definitely one to experience if you get the chance!

Bus ride to Reykjavik
Bus ride was easy to find.
There is a counter near the exit within the airport building to purchase a ticket or redeem your voucher
The bus was very comfortable
The bus takes you to the bus station.
One needs to get another ticket to get to your hotel destination at the airport counter
Well worth it if you have a lot of luggage

Great walking tour of Reykjavik
Einar was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge about his home town and the history of Iceland. He is also a great vocalist as we learned in one of the churches on the tour. Thanks very much Einar for a wonderful tour......too bad it had to rain the whole time! I also appreaciated the links and other info he provided after the tour.

Fire & Ice was quite nice
I arrived too early, but that was my mistake. At opening they were hospitable and helped me navigate handicap routes. Loved the virtual volcano 🌋 and ice caves. The puffin exhibit seemed so real. Tried some beef jerky from the gift store. Regret not buying the licorice. Fun couple of hours.

Great first day and walking tour
Gemma was very nice and knowledgeable. She set a great pace for our group. Each stop had a lot of information and the route she took allowed us to really know the city and to be confident in exploring on our own afterwards. We had a perfect day and it was warm and sunny so we got to see more icelandic culture with everyone outside

Outstanding Walking Tour
Outstanding 2.5 hour walking tour including history, art, and culture. We visited amazing parts of city that might be overlooked by a visitor. Luca was wonderful, engaging all members of the group. The tour is a wonderful way to learn more about the city.

Got great pics of lava tunnels!
We decided to do this tour end of May in lieu of lava show - great decision! Pick up was on time at bus stop #17 Maritime Museum and we transferred to another bus at the bus station. Tour guide was excellent and had so many interesting facts about lava and lava tunnels. Wear hiking boots with good traction because of metal stairs and slippery, rocky paths. They provide a helmet with head lamp for safety. Highly recommend!

Lalli the Legend!
I didn’t know what to expect, but it wasn’t ‘funky’ in the typical sense; no disco music or polyester bell bottoms 🕺🪩. Our guide, Lalli, was a fantastic storyteller! He offered a local tour & a comprehensive Icelandic history lesson in bite size chunks from cleverly planned public oratory locations. The ‘funky’ tour concluded with an unexpected yet heartwarming moral. We signed up for the tour to learn something about the city & it’s history. We got an excellent version of that, but more importantly we discovered a little bit about human nature - we are all flawed, but can learn and improve. Both my 16 year old son & I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson…and the hot dog!!

Many whales and bird species!
I booked this excursion on the day four the day I arrived in Iceland. The staff and the crew on the yacht were both fantastic! The yacht itself was very comfortable. They had drinks and snacks for purchase. The guide was very informative! We were fortunate enough to see Minky and humpback whales!! We also saw porpoise and a few puffins!! the cruise was very comfortable to the harbor. We witness many sites that you can’t see from the mainland! Also, we received a 15% discount at the local restaurant for meals and drinks! It was a great way to start my Iceland venture! I would absolutely recommend this excursion, it was well worth the price!!

Beautiful
Very nice tour. This was very interesting and Eagle (Our tour guide) had a great sense of humor which made the tour more fun. He gave us recommendations on food, safes way to enjoy the black sand beach, and other tips like the water in the waterfall to freshen up. Iceland is beautiful but this side of Iceland really is sight to see. We want to visit again but in summer to better enjoy the landscapes with their green scenery since we went in wintertime. I have to admit that I was a little worried at first because of another experience with this same company where the experience was not bad but had a big room for improvement on service and I thought that every tour with this company’s was going to be the same but it turns out it was just one of those unlucky days since we had a great time and had no hiccups in this tour with Eagle.
Thank you Eagle! Hopefully when we return in summer, we get this tour with you again.
P.D. Always listen to your guide, there tips are always right, they definitely know best lol.

Great stories and loop through a residential area we would never have explored otherwise
It was VERY cold and at first, when our guide said the tour would be 1.5-2 hours, I thought, “we will never last that long,” but the time went by quickly with the stories and exploration of a cemetery, a stop by a church, etc. I’m very glad we decided to do it!
