We couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin our vacation in Iceland! What was supposed to be a group tour turned into a private experience for just the two of us—such a fun surprise! Our guide Oli was the perfect friend to have in Reykjavik. They made the tour feel personal, fun, and full of interesting facts about the local treats. We got to try a variety of local treats, but our absolute favorite was the Happy Marriage—a delicious pastry we’ll definitely miss!
This tour was a perfect mix of tasty pastries, history, and great conversation. If you’re in Iceland and have a sweet tooth, this is a must-do! We felt like we had a friend showing us the best spots!

We had a wonderful time with our guide Paul. The tasting treats were delicious! We even stopped to feed the swans with our kids during our tour. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This is the only tour of the 6 we have done that we don't recommend. We had already been to most of the establishments, we wouldn't call a small piece of dried haddock part of a sweet tour, there were more interesting items on the menus which were not part of the tasting, probably because the tour was trying to keep costs down, and it was not good value for money. We recommend just going to the cafes yourself without a tour.

Thor was really knowledgeable and made the tour interesting! We tried all sorts of sweets and go the history about the places we went and the food we ate, it was delightful!

Our tour guide Thor provided an excellent blend of history, culture, and sweets throughout our beautiful afternoon stroll through Reykjavik. The tour group ended up only being my wife and I, and Thor really took the time to engage and welcome us to Icelandic sweets. Also, as a side note - the photos taken along the way and shared after the tour were a fantastic touch for keepsake memories.

Our tour was a beautiful blend of history, current events, and delicious cuisine so that we could experience Icelandic culture first hand. This small group tour was great. Fun tour of some of the best spots for sweets in Reykjavík. Especially enjoyed the pastries, but all 5 stops were great. Our guide, Gudjon, was fun and knowledgeable!

A big thank you to tour guides Oli and Gudjon for their many kindnesses, for sharing their combined expertise on Icelandic history and culture, and for making the Sweet Tooth Tour’s 5 excellent stops (pastries, candy, Greek “beignets”, ice cream, and more) so enjoyable. I especially liked the pastries and learning about the history of the shop and the area. Go hungry, enjoy learning some new things about the treats and about local history from fantastic guides Oli and Gudjon, and definitely plan for a later dinner!!

Two 8 years olds for this tour - AH - MA - ZING!! From the introduction to the Nordic Gods and the pillars in the Center Square - the guide captivated the kids imagination and eating experience. Hot chocolate, pastries, candy, ice cream, and yogurt...the American kids ate everything and asked a billion questions. He was patient, kind and so engaged. This is the 2nd sweet tour booked for kids (one in Paris) and I constantly recommend to everyone!

Lovely tour with an amazing host, Oli! Enjoyed some delicious treats and learned about their history. Oli is very passionate and knowledgeable about everything we tried and about Reykjavík itself.

Yum, yum! Where to start…we enjoyed this tasty tour of Reykjavik on a chilly afternoon. We enjoyed every taste from start to finish! We enjoyed some delicious Icelandic pastries, candies, and ice cream. This was such a fun way to spend an afternoon, and although we booked this primarily for our kids to enjoy, my husband and I enjoyed it just as much as the kids! We had a wonderful guide and truly enjoyed this experience!

What a great time we had. I’m going to say this upfront - be prepared to eat. A lot! We had lunch before our 2:00 tour and we were stuffed at the end. Tried some different pastries and ice cream flavors amount other surprising treats. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.

We loved the Sweet Tooth Tour. Mathias was our guide. He took us to five different shops and we had a variety of pastries, candies and ice cream, all very good. He had quite the knowledge of Reykjavik and Iceland history. He was very well spoken and answered all of our questions.
I would definitely recommend this tour.
