Small group one of the owners did the tasting, was very intimate. Definitely for the conissore of whiskey and spirits. Would recommend if you appreciate the process and the products. The whiskey is great. We put purchased several bottles to take home. Too bad it is not available for shipping to the US. We had a great time. The host was spirited and lovely she enjoys her work and is passionate.

This was an amazing taste tour of Icelandic whiskey and gin! The host was not only knowledgeable and friendly, but helped us appreciate the various whiskey and gin produced by the distillery.
My two favorites are the sheep dung smoked whiskey and the gin. The smoked whiskey is incredible and, I think, that the local water (glacial) made the gin taste spectacular! I'm not a regular gin and tonic drinker, but this was a much different taste experience with their gin.
If you enjoy whiskey and gin, please book a taste tour of this distillery to be prepared to be surprised by the exceptional tastes.

Absolutely fantastic tour. Our hosts were so welcoming, funny, and really knowledgeable. It's a small facility (for now), but it has big personality, and we got to taste a wide variety of spirits made by this company. I'm hoping to be able to buy their spirits in the US sooner rather than later:)

Distillery tour was great! 'Rock' was our tour guide and he was engaging, friendly, very knowledgeable and gave an interesting history of the company. There was a large selection of gin and whisky to sample, definitely worth a visit. Thank you to Rock for an enjoyable afternoon.

My wife and I have been on various distillery tours and this one rates as one of the best. It was not just interesting as to the distillery process but very informative on the history and culture of Iceland. Our only regret is not having enough luggage space for the bottles we want to take home with us. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and it made for a great afternoon.

Great experience! Our guide did an excellent job of sharing what made their whiskey unique. The facility is small, but the tasting room was very comfortable. Overall it was a relaxed experience from a wonderful small business.

Being a Bourbon/Whiskey collector, I looked forward to this event. Nico, who was the tour guide, was such a passionate Whiskey educator. He was smiling the entire time which in turn made us just as excited to be there also. We did find a couple of bottles to add to the collection and are excited to share with our friends back home.

Well worth the trip out to the distillery, easily done on the bus. We were guided through multiple tastings of gin, brennivin and whisky. Midway we were shown the distilling process. An informative discussion on the process that was undertaken to get to their whisky’s.

My fiancé and I recently had a tour with Rock. Rock was personable, knowledgeable, and a great guide. They had a variety of gin, whisky, and a brennivín that we sampled. Going to Eimverk Distillery is a short drive from Reykjavík and a great addition to a day spent in the area!

We had a great Guide who showed us the small distillary and presented how the business grew from the beginning to what they have now. Tasting the spirits along with the story was a lot of fun. The distillery used mainly products found in iceland when possible, making it very unique. Amazing how these small hints could be smelt and tasted. Would definitely recommend and will probably do it again on my next visit.

Richie was amazing! We tasted some really great gin, whiskey, and Vin. Richie was so friendly and knowledgeable and was able to explain everything that goes on in the making of the alcohol. He was also very knowledgeable in how to compare how Icelandic alcohol is different than other country’s.

Richie was so funny. We had 12 and with his humor we all laughed a lot. It was nice to try many different types/flavors of the liquor produced at this distillery. We would recommend this stop on your trip

We had an awesome tour/tasting with Richie. I'm a whisky drinker - not much for gin or rye - and my wife is a wine appreciator. However, the tasting started scientifically with a "mechanics of tasting" lesson, which is applicable to ALL spirits and it heightened our appreciation of all the spirits we then proceeded to try. Eimverk has only been around for ten years or so, so they're working hard on building the brand and increasing exposure. Their Flóki whisky, Vor gin and Viti aquavit are superb quality liquors and the tour was educational and fun. We met great people, too. Well worth the time and money. We left with 3 bottles - if we weren't traveling, we probably would've purchased more. Great vacation activity and outstanding little facility. A++!

We were very happy with our tour. Our host was very knowledgeable, passionate, and proud of their business and product. The tasting was well thought out and the spirits were wonderful. You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into making the spirits stand out and it really reflects on their mission of keeping it local. We especially enjoyed how personable our visit was (we were the only couple at that time) and much enjoyed it! After tasting all, we came away with a few favorites, and a few souvenirs, and went on our way to get some food at Wingin' It (at the recommendation of our host, the wings were great too).

It was actually great, we've been in different distillerys and what makes this one special is the treatment from the speaker. He's not in a hurry and makes you feel very confortable, almost like you're having dinner or at the bar with him. Great story teller. We loved it and highly recommended! Plus the whisky is a really good quality.
