Our guide was amazing and I would definitely recommend this to others. The tour covers everything you ’d want to know (with plenty of room for questions and knowledgeable answers in between), and covers some unique areas of the downtown area. They even treat you to some included classic Icelandic food. The guide was very nice and funny, and I might consider this my favorite walking tour I’ve done. 10/10

Really enjoyed this! Toured Reykjavik's sites whilst being told a great story about Iceland through the ages. Learning about Icelandic history was fun! Lalli has personality and clearly know his history and enjoys his job.

Lallie was our guide and full of information. It was an enjoyable tour. Do it early in your stay. Convenient meeting place at the Church, big landmark. You will get a good lay of the downtown area.

Best walking tour ever! We had a lot of fun, saw a lot and learned a lot! Loved how the tour was designed. It started at the church which meant the walk was mostly downhill after that which helped anyone with walking difficulties. Also, he history was broken up into small segments which helped keep everyone's attention. Loved all the fun and unusual facts. Would recommend to everyone!

This was great tour, Lali had great info and stories and knew Iceland’s history easily. He had large photos that helped explain. He was funny and pointed out many items along the way. The garden with sculptures he showed us beautiful along with other sculptures by the same artist along the way. I went to places like the settlement museum after the tour I would have never considered. He took us for an Icelandic hotdog. As a vegetarian I never tried it but he got me a yummy alternative with no meat all the condiments perfect! Thank you Lali great walk.

This is one of the best tours we've ever taken. Lully was absolutely fantastic. We learned all about Iceland from Greek mythology to today. It was one of the most informative and fun tours we've been on. The history was amazing. Learning about Reykjavik and how it has grown and changed through the centuries. I simply had no idea. A definite tour must if you are visiting!!

Lalli was fantastic! He gave a very comprehensive tour and history of Iceland. I learned so much. He takes you all around Reykjavík and you even get to stop at the famous hot dog stand. His dream is to open a tour company that takes people to the highlands, and he is so fantastic I hope he achieves it. Can’t miss this tour!

This is a 2.5 hour guided walk around the historic center of Reykjavik. The guide was excellent, mixing in history and humor. We learned a lot and have a better understanding of tiny Iceland's history over the past 1200 years or so.

Great welcome to Reykjavík! Lalli was very engaging and clearly has devoted himself to his craft! An excellent story teller, Lalle kept our attention even after an overnight arrival as we made our way around Reykjavik and learned about the history of Iceland. We picked up an incredible amount of info and especially enjoyed hearing about the culture of this amazing place, including Greyla and her Yule lads, the genealogy of Icelandic people, and the literary traditions. We were impressed with the truly “funky” history lesson! Highly recommend.

Lalli really gave a full thorough tour through the tour but also through all of Iceland's often both figuratively and literally dark and blood history. He was a great storyteller and this is the tour your should be on. You can google the history of a building, but he really took you through the experience of a growing city and country since the first people arrived.

This was maybe the best part of my whole trip! Lalli was a great tour guide: he did as thorough of a history as possible within 3 hours, and answered all of our questions (even the weird ones!)
The tour itself was well structured, the walk was not far and included multiple opportunities to sit and a restroom break---the included hotdog was a fun surprise, too. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

We were so fortunate to have Lalli as our tour guide to introduce us to the history of Reykjavik.
He was funny, engaging, knowledgable and if there were people like him teaching history courses in school, I'm sure a lot more people would be interested in history.
