Friendly staff at reception/check in. The tour guide was well organized and knowledgable, but he seems a bit rushed and gruff. He was not unfriendly, but he was not warm and engaging either. You wouldn’t think a sports arena tour would be all that impressive but, the MSG is the exception for sure! Lots of history surrounding it and the architectural information super interesting. Crazy the events it’s held and the vast variety of entertainers who have performed there. One dig on the experience was that our tour group was big and the guides don’t have mics. Also, there was music and other noises that interfered with the ability to hear. So it was hard to hear or catch all the information.

Strong Execution, Medicore Madison Square Gardens Highlights

I've been to a number of behind the scenes tours of everything from Wrigley Field in Chicago to NBC, Disneyworld & Universal Studios. Each time, the big highlights like locker rooms, going into "main areas" that would be ideal photos, entertaining, and historic lessons. Essentially, this tour stayed in public spots. The tour guide, Serena was terrific, brought great energy & knowledge but there just wasn't enough "meat" to substantiate the ticket price or time spent.
