Exceeded expectations.

We were on a small boat with two crew and about 15 passengers - a nice size. We were taken past all the major sights on the Hudson and East River. The crew member who looked after us was constantly there to help with taking pictures- and supplying beer! It was an evening cruise and the sights were fantastic. Would thoroughly recommend this.

Awesome experience

The whole experience was amazing. The singer and the band were talented and added fun and humor to their performance. The captain and the staff were attentive and helpful. I did the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour on October 2nd. When I arrived and was waiting for the tour to start, nobody else was there - then Robert turned up and, much to my surprise, told me I was the only one booked for that particular tour. It ended up being a private tour, which was absolutely fantastic! Robert was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. He answered all my questions in great detail and made the tour come alive with fascinating stories. He also had an iPad with him, showing historic photos and images of the people and places we were talking about. It was amazing to compare those old photos with what I was seeing in real life. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how kind and thoughtful Robert was. He offered to take photos of me wherever and whenever I wanted, which made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this tour, and if you get Robert as your guide, you’re in for a real treat!

Pat went over the top as a tour guide

The tour went on for over 6 1/2 hours and for most people that would probably be too much however Pat was unreal. Not only did he really know the citi having lived here all his life but shared it enthusiastically. One of the things I had underestimated was the impact Emotional impact. of the destruction of the twin towers. He was vivid in his description of what it occurred. He donates a lot of his time still this long after the terrorist attack. he was also very passionate about respecting by our actions. The fact that this has been well preserved and is a a memorial is vital important to be remembered.
