What a great day! Our guide, Joao, provided us with a very enjoyable visit to two wineries where we were able to sample several Portuguese wines. We visited a medieval castle and stopped at the lovely beachside fishing village of Sesimbra for lunch. It was well worth the trip!

I wished Pedro talked more about the history of the city but we overall enjoyed the tour. The seats were very comfortable and the sunset was beautiful. It was a great opportunity for us to see historical spots along the river all at once. Highly recommend for people who want to spend a chill, relaxing sunset.

Great was to see the sunset

This was a super fun way to see Lisbon from the river and to experience an absolutely stunning sunset! Miguel and Alfonso were great hosts and made everyone onboard feel welcome and included. The wine was also very good as were our snacks! Would definitely recommend this and I believe it’s suits for all ages. Beautiful ride in the river!

He was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and thorough, while also bringing such great energy and enthusiasm to the experience. What really stood out was Francisco’s passion for Portuguese food, culture, and traditions. He shared so much insight into the history and traditions behind the foods we tasted, making the experience feel much more meaningful than simply a food tour. He also took the time to get to know each of the guests, which created such a warm, personal, and welcoming atmosphere. And, of course, the food was incredible! We sampled so many delicious traditional Portuguese specialties that we were definitely NOT hungry when we left! Thank you Francisco for a truly memorable experience!

Half Day Wine Tasting from Lisbon

We had a great half-day trip with David. We were picked up at our Lisbon hotel by David, who was a great host with excellent English. We stopped at 2 wineries and at each we had a tour of the winery and then tried a variety of lovely wines. At the second winery, we were given the option to upgrade the tasting (extra wine and a cheese board). I'd really recommend the upgrade (just EUR10 pp) for the amazing cheese alone (local sheep's cheese called Serra Da Estrella) If you like trying local wines, this trip is definitely for you.

Port & Chocolate Tasting

We enjoyed the three port tasting with chocolate pairings. I had never had white port before and that was a new experience for me. The vintner took his time and spent at least 39 min with us explaining the grape varietals and then the winemaking and port aging process. We would recommend this port tasting tour especially if you’re unable to travel to Porto and only have a few days in Lisbon.

Best way to experience Lisbon

What a wonderful way to see and experience Lisbon. Was a bit worried about our 3pm tour given the peak of the heat, but it was totally ok as we felt the breeze as we biked up and down the Alfama and along the cobblestone streets taking us to different lookouts of the beautiful city: Sofia was our guide and she was kind, knowledgeable and very thoughtful. Highly recommend this tour!

Great day in the countryside, exploring wine and history!

This was a private tour that met all expectations. Two unique and different wineries plus a tasting at a spot in one of the rows that gave a great variety. John very knowledgeable and hospitable. The snack plate at the 2nd winery was enough to satisfy with local meats and cheeses plus great wines. If you are looking for some time outside of Lisbon this is a great day with very personal attention. Appreciated all John’s efforts, he was a great guide! Wines were lovely!

Good trip , good value.

The departure point of the trip changed but the vendor kept us fully informed. The trip was enjoyed by all in our party and the wine offered was pretty tasty too. The PA system was not working on the boat , so no commentary during the trip but that did not bother our party . All in all , worth the money. We had a great sunset too.
