Yes, guided Lisbon Segway tours are worth it, especially if you have limited time to see the city. Lisbon is vast and hilly, so you'll save your energy and cover more ground by getting around on wheels. Plus, your guide will share cultural insights and local recommendations that you might not learn about on your own.

Per one customer who booked the Lisbon Highlights Guided Segway Tour, "Cris was an amazing tour guide! He took us to all the sights, gave us the history and tips for the area, and took us to the highest point in Lisbon. What a view! We loved every minute of it!"

You don’t need prior Segway experience to join most Lisbon Segway tours, which typically start with a safety briefing and test-drive session. However, be sure you meet the age, weight, and height requirements before booking. Get a feel for the different route options before making your choice; some Segway tours focus on central neighborhoods such as Alfama, others go all the way to Belém, and select experiences offer food tastings all throughout town.

The best way to enjoy Lisbon Segway tours is to wear comfortable shoes (as you’ll still be on your feet), and lather up in sunscreen, since you’ll be exploring outdoors. It’s also a good idea to pack your essentials in a lightweight crossbody bag that will be easy to wear during the tour. Bring cash to tip your guide, and be sure to pay attention during the safety briefing to avoid any Segway mishaps.
