Seeing the Grand Tetons with the help of our expert guide, Jason, helped us see a lot of different animals in a relatively short time. No Safari adventure guarantees the animals you will see, however Jason found Bison, Pronghorn, Elk, Bald Eagles, Deer, and even the back end of a Moose (who was uncooperative for a head & shoulders photo shoot). Nice drinks and snacks for the time were provided. There was a meeting place change that we were not told about through the Viator booking, however, a quick call to the company and they picked us up at the old meeting spot.

Wonderful scenic and peaceful float

Very nice float down the Snake River. Very scenic and beautiful. We saw dozens of Bald Eagles as well as other birds like Pelicans, Geese, and ducks. Our most excellent guide, Issac, did a masterful job guiding our Raft down the river and was chock full of interesting habitat info. Would highly recommend this trip. Our only relatively minor issue was the 4 year old rambunctious boy who created a bit of a distraction to the other wise tranquil experience.

Fits was an AMAZING guide! He was very knowledgeable about white water rafting, river, conditions, history, etc. He made it so fun and taught us in the quick hour and a half journey down the river so many wonderful things. We saw three bald eagles on our trip down the river!

Relaxing

The float was relaxing . We saw many eagles and different birds , but no other wildlife. My only critique was that we started at the edge of the Tetons and floated away from them , so it was a limited view. The seats were comfortable and was a welcome change from the long days in Yellowstone.

Perfect half day Teton tour

Our tour was phenomenal. Dan was an incredible guide, and we learned so much of the history and geography of the area. I wish we’d taken it on our first full day so we had a better understanding of the Tetons. The van was comfortable. We made just the right amount of stops, and we were fortunate enough to see elk, bison, and a moose on our trip. The detail we could see through the scope was an awesome extra touch too. I will absolutely book with this company again!

Amazing experience!

An amazing tour guide! It is very unfortunate that we don’t remember his name but he is ginger and has a great personality. He knew where to go for the perfect views and where there could be wildlife. He knew his history well and wildlife animals with ecological facts that were super interesting and cool for us to learn. He helped us and the other people in the tour take amazing group/family photos and had much patience with us in that. He drove fantastic and in a safe manner. The jokes and constant facts were great during the entire tour that kept us all attentive. Some of us would ask him questions and he would provide us with answers. We learned about “Fabio” and “Beave-zilla” that was super fun! Him taking pictures and videos of wildlife for us all, to then send it to us before we left was the cherry on top. My family and I enjoyed it so much than we expected to because of him!

Absolutely worth every penny! We would never have learned so much about the history of the Tetons without Vern! He is truly a wealth of information. From the wildlife to the glaciers to culture! We got to see Jake the Elk up close! Vern even got some shots of the animals from his telescope to my phone. It was an incredible experience and a must do when visiting!

Fantastic Tour!

My wife and I were initially worried about the tour being crowded and difficult to see the animals. We ended up being with one other couple and our tour guide, Kevin. We LOVED the smaller group and how accommodating Kevin was when we spotted animals along the route. He was very knowledgeable and kind. The tour offered snacks, drinks, and hand warmers should we need them. We each had a set of binoculars as well. We got to have lunch at Dornan’s which had an AMAZING view of the mountains and the food was delicious. We loved that Kevin was able to AirDrop us photos of the animals he took with his spotting scope. Overall, a fantastic tour. Would definitely do it again!
