Do it! A lovely trip in a catamaran to a beautiful island for swimming. Met new friends on the trip. The crew were amazing! Took care of us so well! Highly recommend this tour company for a sunset catamaran trip!

It was a very fun boat ride with an amazing view of the sunset at the end, attentive crew, delicious cocktails and good company! They provided an amazing catered lunch of tender chicken, rice, beans, salad, and roasted veggies. Their selection of music was also very nice to have with something for everyone. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time, meet some fellow travelers, and get the full Tamarindo experience!

Overall, it was a good day. The crew were very accommodating, food was great, and boat very stable despite high winds. The less than 5 stars… boat no interior and not as nice as others we have taken friends on from Tamarindo at even lower cost (we are residents). So, expect a lot of sun exposure. Beers were cold but it was “dealers choice” from the bartender on what beer you would be served. That said, plenty of booze and truly a booze cruise experience. Didn't bother us about the booze, but some families with young kids on the trip were really not happy. Finally, the boast left really late. Arrived early around 12pm for 12:30 “departure”. That departure was actually closer to 2pm. All in all, we had fun. Operation needs work, but I’d give it a shot.

Our catamaran is designed as an open-deck sailing experience, but we understand the need for more shaded areas and are working on improvements.

Horrible. Changed my reservation two days before because of a cancelled flight and when I showed up at 1230 to check in they said they had no room for me. I asked to see the list from the day before when my original booking was supposed to be and my name was still on the list from yesterday. I want my refund now. This is ridiculous. 70 people on the boat too. Monitor your changes!!

Mostly a booze cruise. Complimentary alcohol from the start. No discussion at all about Costa Rica, the area, the coastline, or anything. “Lunch” was marginal, the snorkeling was poor (including broken equipment), but the sunset was nice (and would have been from shore also).
I do have to say the crew was very attentive and hard working.

Everyone had a great time, but don’t expect fancy. The boat itself is no frills and there is no dock. You’ll take a small boat from the beach to reach it. Great swimming, great music, great crew. Unlimited drinks is definitely true!

Fantastic tour! I thought it was just a party boat with sunset view. In fact, it was wayyyyy more than that. The sail started with an easy vibe, and got us to the other quieter shore. From there, the boat anchored somewhere distanced from the beach, and they provided various kinds of equipment for us to swim, snorkel, or SUP. My partner and I were not really good swimmers, but we felt very safe swimming there with floating bars. The lunch (or more like afternoon tea regarding time) was Costa Rican style food, which included one of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The sunset was spectacular, and plus you got to enjoyed it with amazing people and vibes. We were super lucky to see some dolphins and a whale. It’s almost impossible to imagine an experience like this at this price. Anyway, five stars and highly recommended.

A very fun activity to do with a group of people! The sunset was beautiful. Weather dependent, but we were able to go elsewhere to snorkel and relax. Pool noodles are fun to float in the water with! Food and drinks were amazing. 12/10!

The experience overall was nice. The worst part was meeting at 12:45 and not loading into the first small boat until 1:20 and not departing the other boat until around 2:00. It would’ve been nice to know we would wait this long. The boat was nice. It seemed crowded at first, but was fine. I wish there was more room to lay down. The food was great and the drinks were good as well. The sunset coming back was breathtaking. I would recommend this tour, but it does take up half of your day.

Great tour! We had a beautiful day, and got to snorkel, swim, enjoy the day. The staff, drinks, food, quality of the boat - all was wonderful! The check-in process could be improved a little, as was a little busy and chaotic.

Regarding the snorkeling, we’re sorry it didn't quite live up to your expectations. Underwater visibility in Tamarindo can be a bit unpredictable depending on the tide and currents. We always hope for crystal-clear water, but sometimes the ocean has its own plans!

This sunset catamaran tour absolutely awesome. To start off the weather was perfect, a warm mid-80’s day with a slight breeze.
From start to finish the crew gave us the best service. It started with freshly cut watermelon and pineapple. Then they provided us with a variety of mixed drinks and beer.
Then we set off for to play on a remote beach with paddle boards, kayaks, and swim noodles.
After that the crew served us a wonderful lunch of sautéed chicken, black beans, white rice, Cole slaw and freshly cooked vegetables.
We set off back to our pick up point and caught a beautiful sunset.
I would highly recommend this sunset tour IF the weather permits.

The crew were amazing and spotted whales and turtles for us to see. The drinks were good and lunch was great. We didn’t get to snorkel due to it being cloudy and choppy water but still enjoyed being in the water. They were very attentive to the guests safety.

It was disorganized. No heads up about the order in which things would happen. We sat on the boat for nearly an hour, just stopped looking for whales. All the activities happened toward the end. And “lunch” was served at 330. It would be much improved if they were detailed and more informative

The boat was very nice, comfortable and felt safe. The water and surroundings were peaceful. While I appreciate an open bar, the crew was very pushy about people drinking. If we said no to alcohol, they would push back, make inappropriate comments and almost encourage more drinking. I understand it is a fun environment but no is no always. I enjoyed everything else but this aspect.

Catamaran itself and the staff were excellent. I had a great time. We were offered fresh fruit upon boarding and then a variety of drinks throughout. We stayed at the swim/snorkel location for a long time, which was great.
The food they offered was delicious and plentiful.
I’m not one to complain, but I will say that their mixed cocktails tasted off. Not sure if it was the selected alcohol or the fruit mixture they used. A few people mentioned the same.
Otherwise a fantastic excursion.
