I really enjoyed the trip with Mauricio, he is so professional with it. He gave us fruits to try and got lots of pictures of sloths, monkeys and frogs. I would recommend everyone take this trip! Worth your money. And come at 9am if possible, because it easier to see animals when it’s morning.

Mauricio was an incredible guide! He was very knowledgeable and took his time during the tour. We got to see interesting plants, taste delicious fruits, locate howler monkeys and sloths, and even spot colourful frogs! Definitely recommend a visit. It was also very family friendly - my husband and I visited with our 18 month old and it went great!

Great tour! Mauricio was incredible, very knowledgeable, and super kid-friendly! We saw sloths, monkeys, frogs, and even an owl. We also tasted various herbs and plants along the way. Beautiful property and beautiful people. Mauricio also suggested Annias Empenadas for lunch and they were INCREDIBLE.

Our guide, Miller, was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the sloths and monkeys - which we saw plenty of! - but also the flora and fauna of the farm. Our walk along the wooded trail was paced well and very peaceful. We were shown frogs, plants, trees, insects, and of course the sloths and howler monkeys! There were great views of Arenal! What an enchanting property to visit! I'm grateful for the owners for running such a lovely tour and for allowing us to spend time in this beautiful space - thank you! One of our favorite experiences, I felt very natural, the wildlife viewing was incredible, we saw many sloths, howler monkeys, poison dart frogs, Oripendola, Macaws and much more. Our guide Mauricio was amazing, his knowledge was extensive, and he turned our walk into a sensory experience, we were able to smell the different plants, taste the fruit and interact with the environment in ways we never have with any other tour company. This is a must do if you are in the La Fortuna area..

The address listed on the booking page was incorrect and only directed us to the city rather than the actual meeting location. After realizing this, I called the employee, who gave me a different address. Unfortunately, that address led us to “The Night Tour,” which was a completely different activity.
I called again to explain what happened, but the employee was not helpful. She simply told us that we had missed our tour and insisted she had provided the correct location, despite the confusion caused by the incorrect directions. We ended up driving about an hour for nothing and were unable to participate in the tour.
Overall, it was a very frustrating experience due to the inaccurate location information and the lack of customer service when trying to resolve the issue.

Highly recommend! We did this tour with our three boys, ages 7, 6, and 4. It was very doable with these ages. I will say, the path is not stroller friendly, so your kids need to come prepared to walk or be in a carrier. Our guide, Miler, was incredibly knowledgeable and was so good at finding animals quickly and showing them to the kids and telling us about them. He walked slowly so the kids could easily keep up with him. I would recommend wearing hiking boots or shoes that can easily get wet, as we didn’t come prepared and our shoes got muddy. Also, insect repellent is a MUST. The mosquitoes are viscous, especially if it rains. We cannot speak highly enough of this tour!

We had a beautiful experience on a very wet and rainy morning. Eric was a wonderful guide and helped us spot many creatures we never would have seen on our own— sleepy sloths, dripping monkeys, soggy toucans, and a trail side fer de lance. The nighttime tour ended up being our favorite experience of the whole trip. We happened to go during a thunderstorm, and honestly, I think it made the experience even better.
We saw so much wildlife, including snakes, frogs, sloths, and even a porcupine. Our guide was very knowledgeable, had a great personality, and pointed out animals we definitely would have missed on our own.
Our whole family had a great time, and we’re still talking about this tour. If you’re trying to decide whether the nighttime tour is worth it! I absolutely recommend this!

We had a great experience in our tour. We saw multiple sloths(2 and 3 toed), howler monkeys, parrots, black and white owls, red poison frogs, green tree frogs, multiple different birds. Miller was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We loved this experience because it on a more private reserve with much less tourist traffic. It was just us and the guide which allowed us to travel at our own pace(and our guide did great pacing the trip and tailoring it to us- we had our two year old son). I recommend this experience to anyone visiting. They are very friendly offering water and coffee while there, and they had cute stuffed sloths for very reasonable costs(compared to town prices). We loved this experience and will be taking about it for years to come!
