We had a very memorable experience tubing on level 1-2 rapids. For our party of 8, we were assigned two guides who were generally very helpful. Also, they made us feel very safe and showed us Sloths on the way. However, after our break, our kids switched to solo tubing. We specifically asked one guide to keep a close eye on our teenager, who is a weaker swimmer, but this request was ignored. When we reminded him, he simply shrugged. I suggest that they show better concern.
Additionally, the signage at the meeting point does not match the Viator description, which made the location difficult to find. On the plus side, local Costa Ricans were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us despite the language barrier. Pura Vida!
Finally, the GoPro video we were promised has never arrived, even after multiple follow-ups. The lack of communication regarding this has been frustrating.

We were with our teens and 10 year old. All of them loved it. Blue water, saw monkeys, sloth, butterflies, iguana. Small rapids which were fun and not scary. The guides were absolutely amazing. They helped us navigate safely. The tour was well organized and the guides love their job. Highly recommend.

We were excited to try out this experience just for the blue water and beautiful scenery. But we ended up having a blast riding through the rough waters of the river with our guide. He did a fantastic job of navigating us around obstacles.

We had an unforgettable tubing experience on July 11th at 1PM — easily one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! From start to finish, everything was well organized, safe, and seriously fun.
Our guides, Anthony and Daniel, were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone was comfortable before we got in the water. It did rain a bit during the trip, so the water isn’t as blue as what you may see in photos. It was still worth the adventure. The river was the perfect mix of relaxing floats and exciting rapids — enough to keep the adrenaline up without ever feeling unsafe. The scenery was absolutely stunning too.

Absolutely amazing experience. This is the equivalent to white water rafting however, in my opinion it may be safer than that. We did this tour with our 9 and 6 year old kids.. We felt safe the whole time and the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable on what path we should take through the running river!!! Would definitely do this again!

We had a great experience with Luis. We didn’t realize we were booking a private tour but it was fantastic. It was a little confusing to get to the meeting place because we didn’t realize we needed someone to drop the chain blocking the dirt road. But Luis did a great job guiding through the rapids. We even managed to stay on our tubes!!

Fun for families and all types of groups! Great trip loved it! We saw sloths, monkey, all kind of birds. The rapids were just enough to be exciting but not too much as to be scary. The river is beautiful! Our guides were so personable, super knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. They took great care of us and our kids. Made sure we all felt safe and comfortable. Alex our guide was great! We did this near the end of our 10 days in La Fortuna, where we did two ziplines events, two cooking classes, jungle ATVs, and a bunch of hiking, but this was the best, most fun tour. Class 2 rafting in tubes!! Our tubes were linked together so we stayed as one, which was needed going through some fast spots. Total time in the river was a little over a hour. They served fresh pineapple and watermelon, so sweet.

By far our favorite tour in all of Costa Rica! It felt very private as there was no one else in our group. Our guide, Luis, was phenomenal! We felt very safe the entire time and he was engaging and knowledgeable. 100% recommend!

Such a great experience! Jesus was a wonderful tour guide and stopped at a few places so we could swim and use a tree swing. The rapids were easy and fun. Plan to arrive 30 min before your scheduled start time because the actual river entrance is ~20 min away from the meeting place. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

So, we only were in the water for less than 1/2 km before one of our members got stuck on a hanging tree vine and nearly drowned. So needless to say we were unable to finish our trip since she was traumatized. Our guide Kendel was fast acting to get her unwrapped and breathing. once Eddy got the rest of us to the bank and safe he went back to help to make sure our family member was ok. But it was a while before eddy came back to get us. Like I said we were still close enough to be able to walk back to the restaurant to be picked up.

Our experience was wonderful! Guide Paolo made sure we had the best time. Not only we had a great time on the white water and the "pools" inbetween, our kids (9 and 11 years old) were also delighted when Paolo pointed out some tiny (strawberry poison dart)frogs and a sloth hanging in a nearby tree. We would definately recommend this activity, also for families with younger children.

This was a pleasant experience, the only down falls was finding it , the sat nav didn’t take you to where it was making us 45 mins late . We also paid extra for the grade 3/4 thinking it would be more intense but we later found out we was on the same booking as the grade 1/2 who would have paid less. Other than that , I was nice

Brilliant tour! Our guide was brilliant, very funny and engaging. It was a lot of fun and there was time to get out of our tubes and swim in the river too. We also saw monkeys and a sloth which was the icing on the cake.
At the end we were given towels, a platter of fresh fruit and bottles of cold water which was the perfect end to the perfect trip.

We had a great experience. Our 7 year old was very scared but our amazing guide did not let his tube touch even one rock. He really worked hard to give him a great experience. During our ride we saw a group of monkeys eating and playing and two sloths. I would absolutely recommend this trip. I would suggest reaching out the day before to confirm time and location. We went to the wrong place but the graciously came and picked us up from where we were. My whole family rated this one of their top Costa Rican experiences.

Wir waren eine halbe Stunde zu spät am Treffpunkt, weil wir einmal das GPS Signal verloren haben. Trotzdem würde uns direkt weitergeholfen und könnten die Tour direkt beginnen. Unser Guide Brian war super nett und hat uns viele coole Spots auf dem Rio Celeste gezeigt. Wir hatten viel Spaß.

Activité vraiment cool ! A faire sur la Rio Celeste absolument. Les instructeurs sont très gentils et nous accompagnent dans la descente. Assez mouvementée comme descente en tube.
