This place sucks. They say 20+ pools, but there are really only 3 that are decent: Giant Jacuzzi, Roca di Baldi, and the pool where the water slides let out. All of the others are about 8 inches deep. Most of the bars were closed. Half the place looked abandoned. I wish we had gone elsewhere, but it was too late to book anything else. Unless you absolutely need water slides, I recommend avoiding Baldi.
If you do go, towels require a cash-only deposit of $10/each. There is no ATM nearby.

Such a chill day! My husband and I had such a relaxing morning at Baldi. Full disclosure: we just went to this hot springs because it was a last minute decision, and nowhere else was available. We got pleasantly surprised with a chill environment, great staff and clean areas. The slides were fun. Lunch was ok, what you’d expect for an average buffet. Bathrooms and changing rooms were clean and well maintained. Please note we went there for just a couple hours during the afternoon. We passed by at night and the place seemed packed. I don’t think Baldi should be overlooked though. Easy access doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with it

The staff and crew were amazing! We had booked the wrong date for our ticket (our own fault) and they made sure to help us through the calls and steps needed to get inside upon arrival. The spas are perfect and so fun to experience. Your skin feels refreshed instead of dry after a day in the waters. We will be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was centrally located and easy to get to. The water was incredibly relaxing. I would definitely spend at least 1/2 day here unwinding. The slides were a bit fast even for the older kids, but a perk. We enjoyed the buffet and had plenty of options even for our little picky eaters.

Free parking in their lot. Check in was super easy and the host gave great advice on parking at the top lot to be closer to the springs, leaving bags in our car instead of paying to rent a locker since the lots have security guards and waiting to rent towels until the end of our day since it was raining often and the towels would probably get wet. All good advice!
We were able to make spa appointments at the front desk same day. The spa was great and the staff was fantastic.
This was a great experience for our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers.

Our family (16, 14, 4, 2) really enjoyed the hot springs and kids section as well. It is a very cool tropical place, we bought the 2 meal option and it was pretty much the exact same food for both meals in the buffet and thus not fresh at all. We were in La Fortuna for 8 days and this was the only food we bought that we were not really impressed by. The Springs are worth the day pass.

Much to do, very kid/family friendly. Lunch was good. The staff went out of their way to to accommodate. I would definitely visit again given the opportunity. One of my better days in La Fortuna.

It was my first time in Costa Rica and we decided on this excursion because of the sights and amenities. Excursion was well priced with lunch-it was a buffet. They had a great view of the volcano when it isn’t cloudy. The pools were AMAZING!!! All different temperatures. Well labeled. Even had a natural sauna at one of the pools you could go into. Lockers and towels available. Also has ramps for people in wheelchairs or walkers so it is all accessible!

This was a complete waste of money. The hot springs are different but this felt like more of a theme park. There is a $7 charge for a locker plus a $10/towel refundable deposit. They conveniently don’t put this anywhere in the description so make sure you bring cash. Drinks are the most expensive we paid anywhere. The front desk staff told us incorrect information about which pools were the hottest.
We purchased the optional dinner which was a mistake. It is an all you can eat buffet for an hour. It’s traditional Costa Rican food in the worst version we had the entire trip. Limited options, bad preparation, and don’t get me started on the flavor. All in all, we had a pretty bad experience and will not recommend this to anyone.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! 10/10 They have 20+ hot springs and 4 different water slides (kinda rough but fun). The lunch buffet didn't have a lot of variety (rice, beef,chicken, pork, salad bar, 2 types of dessert) but was still good. Drinks are a little pricy but the passion fruit juice is amazing.

Incredible experience, the water felt amazing and there was an abundance of pools to check out. The natural sauna is not to be missed and the water slide was also super fun (seriously give it a try you’d be surprised how fast you go)

Only drawback is that you have to be dressed for the restaurant, no swimsuits, flip flops, cover-ups, etc.

The overall experience was excellent. The grounds are well maintained and navigating the various pools was very easy. There is essentially one walkway that traversed the pools from the front of the property to the back. The hot springs are beautiful and provide quite a space both in the pools as well as areas surrounding them. We used the locker service without issues. The changing rooms provide private spaces to change. The ability to start a bar tab at the main bar simplifies ordering at the others bars at the property. We had a good experience at the lunch buffet. The only negative comment I have is that the food is warm and not hot. The selection of food was good and the service was also good. Myself and my kids enjoyed the slides a lot. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Baldi and would recommended it to others.

Baldi was everything that we expected. We were a group of 6 - 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 seniors - and the facilities met all of our needs. The water slides were fun! The buffet was good and the burgers at the front bar looked fantastic! The facility was clean and the staff were pleasant. I didn’t like was having to leave a credit card to open a tab. Also glad we went early because it was very busy by afternoon. I would not chose day time at Baldi if you are just looking to relax as a couple but we enjoyed ourselves.

The pool springs are amazing there are many different pool options to choose from. The “fast waterslide” is insane so proceed with caution as you will get flipped over in there and shoot out on your stomach when starting off on your back, it is a bit painful. The property is beautiful, they have lockers you can rent, and you can rent towels you pay for them and once returned at the end you get your money back, they also have showers. The dinner was ok, I wished they had better food options, was hoping for better quality fancier food to match the resort.

Our hot springs visit was the perfect way to unwind! The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. We added the buffet-style lunch, but honestly, it was just okay and not really necessary for the experience. The drinks, on the other hand, were excellent and really added to the enjoyment. Overall, it was a peaceful and refreshing day, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to relax!

Great experience. Very big pools, very clean! The sides were very fast, beware!! Not for the faint of heart. I don’t think pool temps were accurate, but either way, they were amazing!
