We had the most enjoyable...
We had the most enjoyable experience with Capt Trip on the river. He gave a great presentation, teaching us all about the ecosystem and the wildlife. We found several shark teeth on Morris Island! The dolphins made several appearances throughout our journey. Great excursion for kids and older adults too, easy on and off the boat. Do it!

Great small group tour for an intro to Charleston
In a little more than 2 hours, you will get a very nice introduction to Charleston and a chance to explore some hidden passageways that you might not find on you own (or might not think to walk down them). Jim B was a great guide, he has a pleasant manner and nice sense of humor and lots of information and stories to share to provide good context for the sights you’re seeing. We highly recommend this small group tour - especially if it’s your first visit to Charleston.

A must visit for the History.
Book early and arrive early. We bought our tickets 30 days in advance. We wanted the first cruise of the day so we could be there for the flag raising. Get there early and be prepared to stand in line if you want to be on the top deck while cruising over to The Fort. Also, the Visitor Center does not open a second before 9am. Keep that in mind if you are traveling and will need a restroom. The park rangers were very helpful and engaging. If we go back, we will do the last cruise of the day for Taps.

Charleston Ghost tour
Emily was a wonderful tour guide. We loved how she explained Mason’s life to us before we embarked on our tour. Mason was amazing. We were amazed how he knew right where to go. What a sweet boy. It was a lot of fun learning about some of Charleston’s ghost stories and seeing the cute, quaint town!

Charleston tours introduce visitors to the city’s two biggest draws: its heritage and its harbor. Take in the city highlights with a vintage horse-and-carriage ride, go modern with a tour bus, or slow things down with an expert-led walking itinerary. Alternatively, pair culture with cuisine on a historic district food tour. Once the sun sets, the city’s haunted history comes to the fore with ghost tours and spooky pub crawls. Pair your explorations on land with a harbor excursion, whether it’s a ferry to Fort Sumner or a harbor cruise for daytime sightseeing, sunset drinks and dinner, and wildlife spotting.
