Great Tour
John was a great Tour kind. He was very attentive and engaging with each person on our tour. He even kept our teenagers interested. The bus was warm and clean. We got to see many of the NYC sights in just a short period of time.

This was a great tour for...
This was a great tour for someone visiting the city for potentially their only time in life. We got to visit many of the spots we’d seen in movies, online, etc., and it was so nice not having to navigate all of that on our own. The guide, Don, was helpful and knowledgeable, and very much was concerned about the groups safety during our time. I purchased this tour for my mom as her Christmas present, and would highly recommend it to other people visiting the city.

Great tour
The tour was great. Dena, our tour guide was amazing. We ate a lot of delicious food. The only thing that could make this tour better maybe more breaks and more walking so you have a bit more time between stops

  • Chinatown is a great place to practice your Cantonese or Mandarin; there is also an increasing number of Fuzhounese-speaking residents.

  • For a dim sum meal, unless you have a party large enough to fill a traditional oversized table, expect to share a communal table with other diners.

  • Although more Chinatown businesses are starting to accept credit cards, some only accept cash or give discounts for paying in cash.

  • You’ll find plenty of deals on designer bags, shoes, belts, and even “Apple” products on Canal Street; but keep in mind many of these goods are counterfeit.

  • New York City actually has two Chinatowns; you’ll find the other one, which is even larger, in Flushing, Queens.
