Great canal ride on arrival date from the US with jet lag

We arrived in Amsterdam on a flight from the US at 6 am. So I booked this in advance, figuring our room would not be ready. We did this at the first booking at 10 am. I had selected the option of no unlimited drinks or snacks, but they misread our viator ticket and gave us wrist bands for unlimited. Slight bonus I guess. I thought our tour guide was excellent. The ship was comfortable. We learned a lot about Amsterdam and its history. One thing I would caution you is do not have an expectation that the places you are going to see are what is listed on the itinerary. Ours was completely different. No Anne Frank House or Rijkismuseum. But I found where we went and the places we learned about to be much more interesting. Like the narrowest house in Amsterdam. So much fun. The unlimited drinks and snacks we didn't pay for, but received anyways, probably not worth it. It was a small container of bar mix and a beer or wine. I didn't want anything anyways. I was not asked after my first drink if I wanted another, but honestly after the long flight and jet lag, I wanted nothing. Really enjoyable. I highly recommend.

The boat trip was well organised from start to finish. As we moved through the canals the tour guide, Emma, was thorough with her information about what we were seeing and where we were going. This included information about why and how the houses were designed the way they are. Good experience and worth the trip.

Great experience on the canal cruise with drinks and cheese. Good guide and service! Would recommend for a different perspective of Amsterdam. Finding the meeting point was challenging for us, but we asked for help and everyone on the docks was great! They knew right away which your it was even though the listing didn’t say it specifically.

Fun afternoon

Our guide Lon was very knowledgeable and entertaining. There was a little trouble finding the exact location, but the staff made sure they contacted us and helped with that. For anyone who might have the same difficulty with the map point being a bit off…look for a boat with bright orange flowers on it.

An amazing evening in Amsterdam

We had an absolutely lovely evening on the canal with the KINboat team. There were so many tours to choose from; we had a hard time narrowing everything down. Captain Dirk was truly the man and made our evening fun and enjoyable. He is a wealth of knowledge, so we also learned a good amount about the history of the Netherlands and the city. Best Boat Tour in Amsterdam!!🛥️❤️

Fantastic boat tour around Amsterdam. Captain Sebastiano and Gabby were really friendly, shared lots of knowledge and stories as we travelled, and made us laugh a lot. It was a small tour with only 8 of us which felt really personal and relaxed. Drinks were very reasonably priced and tasty (highly recommend the aperol spritz!). Definitely book this tour over one of the bigger boat ones. (Also very glad to have an open boat rather than enclosed in this hot weather!). Thank you so much for such a brilliant tour 😊☀️

Great & Knowledgeable tour!

We had such a great time on this tour! We were visiting from New York and we felt like we got a great sense of the history of the center city and its structure from this tour! Our guide Seline was so fun and knowledgeable and very polite and took care of everyone that wanted drinks on board! I would recommend doing this to others and would even do it again myself!
