Our canal tour was in an...

Our canal tour was in an open boat which allowed us to see everything and take photos unrestricted. We had nice weather on the day. Our Captain, Jerremy introduced himself and made everyone feel at home. Jerremy kept us informed of the sights as we went past and he kept us entertained with stories, history and good humour. We had a selection drinks and Dutch treats to eat. We had a great time.

Enjoyable cruise

This was a lovely canal cruise which only had 8 passengers/guests. Captain Storm was informative, educational, very social and quite interesting. The canal was not as busy being a Sunday and at times very quiet, which made it peaceful. It was also just the right pace and got to see a lot. I highly recommend this canal cruise.

Excellent service while onboard.

Boat captain/owner was excellent in his explanations of the canal system and things we were seeing. He was most helpful when we asked for assistance at end in getting a taxi/UBER ride back to our cruise ship made necessary by my cell phone running out of power. We are grateful.

We had the best tour guide/skipper in Max who has a very good knowledge of the history of Amsterdam and gave us a really fun tour. It’s a really good way of finding out where things are and I especially loved it when we went by the zoo and saw the giraffes

Amazing!

We book the cruise only one hour before it started, and they didn’t overcharge us for being last-minute. Our guide was Nunzio, and we had an amazing time with him, listening to all his anecdotes and having the opportunity to see Amsterdam from a completely different point of view. Quick and Fun tour of the city.

Great way to get a quick little tour of the city! We chose the 1 hour saloon boat cruise (with the wine and cheese option-a must!). The saloon boat was a great choice as it had a covered roof (with large skylight/windows) so you could see the beauty of the city, but were covered from any quick weather changes. Our skipper, Michael, was great! And our guide Tionne, was hilarious, informative, and a LOT of fun. It was our friends birthday, and they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Highly recommend!

The cruise was very...

The cruise was very satisfying in terms of what I expected. The guide was funny and allowed me to bring my pizza on the boat because I hadn’t had a chance to eat all day, which saved my life. The location of departure was not as listed: it was from Amsterdam Centraal area and not near the Anne Frank House. However, the address provided on my ticket sufficed to get me to right place just in time, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Just a note.

Very nice journey, the guide was very helpful and gave good recommendations to go around the city. Very caring too, provided a blanket so I dont get cold, warm tea and even had umbrellas in case it rained. The information was short, but good for an overview/first visit.

We had a great experience on the sunset cruise in Amsterdam. The captain was excellent. He was very friendly, engaging, and shared a lot of interesting information and history about Amsterdam throughout the tour. The views were beautiful, especially at sunset, and it was a relaxing way to see the city from the water. One critique: the address provided for the meeting point was not the actual location of the boat, which made it a little confusing to find. Clearer directions or an updated address would make the experience even better.

Jure was our captain and did a great job explaining all the sites. It was a very relaxing and informative ride through the beautiful canals and I would highly recommend this excursion. These are open boats compared to many of the other companies where they are closed in which I highly recommend as well.

Amazing tour of Amsterdam!

Captain Ollie was out captain on the Captain Dave boat and he is absolutely amazing!!! He was fun, funny, and EXTREMELY informative. He knew fascinating history about the area and made it relatable to each of us and where we came from. And not only did he have great history and information about all of the sights but he maneuvered the boat impressively! There were some incredibly tight corners and even had a situation with a local boat that he was able to navigate and keep on track! Absolutely amazing tour. Extremely highly recommend!
