Great way to see Amsterdam!

Tour was a great way to see the canals and learn about the rich history of Amsterdam. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the surroundings and added some nice humor as well. Food and drink was better than what you normally get on these tours which was nice as well. I would highly recommend!

Fun and Informative!

Our tour guide and boat operator were awesome! I cannot remember their names, but the tour guide was a short white female from North Africa, I think? And the driver was a 20 year-old white college kid from Amsterdam. She was funny, informative, and the drinks were excellent! He navigated an incredibly busy canal with ease. The timing was perfect with kids - 1 hour was just right.

Thoroughly recommend this tour, it was awesome.

Could not fault this tour at all. Out original booking time was cancelled but we were notified in a timely manner & given multiple options within an hour to day differences. Our Skipper Naut was knowledgeable & entertaining, there was no shortage of drinks or snacks, I would not hesitate to recommend. The only criticism I have, is finding the tour boat. So many different companies & places they tie up in the same area its difficult to easily identify the correct one. Need at least 15mins up your sleeve to make sure you are in the correct place.

If you’re looking for a very fun experience to really get out and see what Amsterdam has to offer as far as culture, cuisine, and history, I definitely recommend this tour! Fun for all ages, family friendly, and a great time with a group of friends. Or even go alone, you’re sure to make new friends! Highly recommend and will be doing this activity again!

Our Captain was Mark and he was great at piloting the boat while describing the points of interest. The drinks were reasonably priced and each couple shared assorted snacks: cheese, crackers, grapes, nuts and small stroopwaffles. Very pleasant 2 hours.

Alfred was amazing! This tour was very thorough and I feel like gave us a taste of a wide range of neighborhoods around the canal system. We were thrilled to be able to go into the smaller canals in a way that the bigger covered boats are not, and we got very helpful information and interesting local tidbits from our guide. What a wonderful tour! Sebi and his fabulous 100+ year old historic boat led to a magical experience as we cruised around Amsterdam and learned about the city’s history. The food was delicious and the drink was exceptional. Since it was a small group (8 guests) we enjoyed delightful conversation.

Fun afternoon

Our guide Lon was very knowledgeable and entertaining. There was a little trouble finding the exact location, but the staff made sure they contacted us and helped with that. For anyone who might have the same difficulty with the map point being a bit off…look for a boat with bright orange flowers on it.

What boat do we go to?

The meeting point is not in front of the Anne Frank house. It is on the canal, and no one has any idenity from Viator. There are several cruise services. We asked the first one we came to who had a check in booth. The ticket we had did not have the tour company, so we had to search our old e-mails to find the tour operator. She was able to point us in the right direction for that tour operator. After that debacle, we boarded our boat and it was very informative and relaxing.
