Even though it was konigsday, the tour still took place and the route changed, so ended up traveling quiet canals and seeing some great views of the zoo and university. Mark, or tour guide did a fantastic job and was very friendly, knowledgeable and inclusive. A great existing and definitely a must do!

Jean-Paul was very informative, took us down canals that the bigger cruise boats can’t navigate so gained a bit more history.

Merlin was a great tour guide and captain. He took us on a canal tour showing us interesting landmarks and sharing Amsterdam’s history along the way. It was a great way to start our trip in Amsterdam!

We were looking forward to learning about Amsterdam. But disappointed that captain Boss or B didn’t seem to share much other than damns stop water and copper turns green. Two travelers next to us said they did the same canal tour 3 years ago and learned so much from the architecture to the red light district. If I wanted a boat ride, I would have rented a wave runner. Once again, my wife and I were disappointed we didn’t learn about Amsterdam.

Absolutely beautiful way to see Amsterdam. “Captain Jack” was amazing and provided a lot of historical, cultural and interesting facts. Unfortunately a thunderstorm came in unexpectedly and the last half of the tour was water soaked. But Jack made it fun and kept us as dry as possible. There was only 26 people on board and good attitudes prevailed. We laughed, we sang, and we made the best of a unfortunate situation. I would definitely recommend the tour and if you have an option ask for Jack.

Our captain, Emma, really made the cruise. She was friendly and knowledgeable and was a great host as well as captain. We took the last cruise of the night and it was beautiful seeing the lights on over the canals. One caveat. Leave plenty of time to find the location. It is not terribly well marked and the address given is a distance away from the actual boat. Once you’re there, you’ll be glad you booked it!

Don’t waste your money. The boat had 28 seats and they packed it with 35 people. There was no room to move.. we were all facing the side. You couldn’t see much or take any photographs. Tour guide barely spoke. They ran out of drinks. Waste of time and money.

We had a fantastic time! Our captain Pedro was so funny and also very informative. We learned a lot of cool facts about Amsterdam and had a great time on the canals. Would do this experience again.

This was for a sunset canal cruise in Amsterdam. The boat shown on the app was a covered boat. Turned out it was not covered. It’s cold at 10pm in Amsterdam in early June.
My GpS couldn’t find the location of the ship. Called the phone number on the confirmation ticket emailed to me. Representative couldn’t give me help with finding the boat. Told me to look for a blue boat. We finally got tired of trying to find it after 40 minutes. We bought a ticket on a COVERED boat for less money. We finally saw our uncovered ECO tours boat across the channel. It was GREEN not blue. We could barely see the name ECO on it.
We are disputing the charge for this cruise. Not sure I will trust Viator in the future.

This made Amsterdam look beautiful again! Best part of our 2 days in the city was on this evening/nightime cruise. The lit bridges and buildings were extraordinary. Our guide was wonderful and we enjoyed all of the background facts about the buildings.

The sunset cruise was a perfect end to our day in Amsterdam. We did a morning cruise as well, but the evening cruise is quieter, more relaxed, and beautiful. Our guide, JJ, could not have been better.

We had a great experience on the sunset cruise in Amsterdam. The captain was excellent. He was very friendly, engaging, and shared a lot of interesting information and history about Amsterdam throughout the tour. The views were beautiful, especially at sunset, and it was a relaxing way to see the city from the water.
One critique: the address provided for the meeting point was not the actual location of the boat, which made it a little confusing to find. Clearer directions or an updated address would make the experience even better.

This was a great way to see the city on the canals as the city transitions for day to night. Emma was a great guide, very professional and fun! She did a great job of captaining the boat through the canals, dealing with other boats blocking our path occasionally, and giving us a great city-viewing experience, all while giving a good brief history of the city and some of the sights we got to see! For us it was our last night in the city but was a great way to see some things from a different perspective on the water, also would be a great tour on your first day in the city! 10/10 would recommend!

We arrived too early for our cruise and were accommodated on an earlier cruise with Jek in the Ariana (I think!). We heard lots of interesting facts on our cruise with a very personalised tour. It was informative and enjoyable and was excellent value for money.
