The tour guide was lovely and friendly but the overall experience not the best, compared to the other boats we saw we were abit gutted!
It’s small no heating flaps don’t close to cold and boring if you’re a young couple

Sabrina and Roger were fantastic for our tour around the canals. Despite the open windows it wasn’t too cold (although the unlimited gluhwien may have helped).
The canal cruises may not be the best option if you’re only looking for Instagram pictures of the Light Festival.

It is not as picturesque as described on the site. The tour guide needs to be more enthusiastic about the light displays and interactive with the passengers.

Hannah was an excellent guide. Juggling drink orders and narration and interpretations of the various artistic installations. Very enjoyable evening and would recommend working this into your evening plans in Amsterdam.

Edward and Meta were great! Edward was very entertaining and had a world of knowledge. It was raining a bit when we left but quickly ended so Edward rolled up alll of our windows so we could see the light displays. Very wonderful!

The weather was atrocious granted…! But I paid for unlimited drinks & not once was I offered a drink…the snack was a packet biscuit…!
I couldn’t see a thing…freezing cold, no blankets…the staff were extremely rude….we had a pizza cruise in Amsterdam the night before & couldn’t fault it for less money…!

It was an ok canal cruise. Shortly after taking off we were asked if smoking and vaping was ok and most of us said no. Despite this a couple passengers smoked/vaped which, with some plastic sides down due to a drizzling rain, was not pleasant. Also, a couple passengers spoke loudly on cell phones which made listening to the boat captain impossible.

Half of the passengers were very loud and disrupting. The guide did not have control of the cruise. Half way through the cruise the passengers wanted off.

It was great, both the driver and guide were friendly. Only downsides were the other tourists being obnoxious and the weather but you can’t control everything so 5 stars.

Very cold. Seats were wet—not wiped down after it rained. The light festival is underwhelming and so is the tour. The tour guide was quite opinionated about his favorite installations which I didn’t pay for.

As soon as I got to Amsterdam, I knew I'd want to be in the water on the canals and I think night is maybe the best time for that if the weather permits! The glow of the lights on the water makes everything even more magical. The 2024 Light Festival was great! Our hosts on board the boat were friendly, knowledgable about the festival and were great about checking in with everyone to make sure their drinks were full! The pick up point was clearly marked as well and everything ran very smoothly. Worth every penny!

Had a great evening cruise to see the lights. Our captain was Luc (I think) and forget our hosts name. It was 5pm on 1/12 if that helps determine who it was for the company. I did a canal cruise years ago. Learned a lot more on this cruise. The host did a great job sharing information about the city and the lights. She kept everyone engaged and tried to share facts that interested all ages. While doing that she also made sure everyone had full drinks the entire time. Really enjoyed this cruise. Thought I was doing it only for the lights, and learned a lot of new information about the area. Great cruise. Thanks.

Connor was an awesome guide-he was super knowledgeable not just about the light display, but also the history behind the city and architecture. Despite the absolutely freezing temperatures, it was fantastic and I’d do it all again!
