Great food on a relaxing canal cruise

The boats are just the right size - not too small not too large for a relaxing experience. The food is prepared by a restaurant and the cruise stops to get the food. In our case, the food was prepared by the owner of the restaurant and was excellent, far surpassing our expectations.

Tip based tour, worth much more than any paid tours!

Samuel was one of the best tourguide I've ever had. He was funny, entertaining and was litteraly a walking encyclopedia. This was a really good introductory tour to the great city of Amsterdam. A lot of topics were covered such as History, Architecture, Dutch tolerance, WW2, Holocauste, funny stories about the background of drugs and prostitution in Amsterdam, etc. I would highly reccomend this tour! I love those tip based tours and you bet I tipped accordingly! At the end of the tour, Samuel gave us a QR code leading to a map in Google maps listing all of the best local spots. Restaurants, Coffeeshops, cafés, etc. Everything you need is right there and I can testify this map helped me a lot during my stay.

Great tour and great guide

Kiran was great. His knowledge of art, history and how they are reflected in what we viewed really helped put things into context. We had a great time seeing Amsterdam from a different perspective after walking the city all day. The captain, and captain-in-training, were very friendly and offered the right amount of conversation, insights about the city history, and service that made the evening very enjoyable. The food was very good, just the right amount and pacing to enjoy conversation and the sights. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting the city.

Great but give yourself plenty of time to get there

It was a fantastic way to get a feel for Amsterdam. The tour guides were wonderful. Be careful what location you pick, as the directions are confusing. It’s hard to find proof that it’s Flagship and the directions say you can get on at any of there locations but that’s not correct.

The perfect canal trip

A great way to see the city - we picked the right boat! Pete, the skipper & Thijs, the guide, were great and very informative. They had lots of interesting stories about the history of the city and of the canals. Highly recommend. Morning was great too, white it got too hot
