We were not aware that the wine and cheese on the tour would be a bottle of wine handed to us and a package of cheese. No one explained that there was an audio track available on the boat to describe the tour, so we had no guidance as to what we were seeing. The route, of course, was beautiful through the canals. However, a bit more organization would’ve been better.

It was very crowded . I think i would choose a more intimate smaller boat next time . But it was very informative . The cheese and wine were great

First we were givven the wrong address by Viator and missed our cruise because of it. Then after running in the wind and rain to the correct location (Blue Boat has multiple locations) the two women running the check in were insanely rude & mean including telling my 6 yr old and 82 year old mother who can barely walk they couldn't wait inside the shop and had to go stand outside. The evening cruise is wonderful, just use a different line.

I thought it would be a more intimate experience, and it turns out that you end up sharing a table with descomocados, since they fill the boat.

We took the wine and cheese night tour. It was so cozy and relaxing as well as educational. I will definitely recommend this tour.

We found the blue boat company stop easy to get to . It was right opposite the Hard Rock Cafe which is where we first had our meal before the cruise It had a little shop where you paid for your ticket or showed your pre paid online tickets !! you can buy sweets and hot drinks to take on board there as well ! When we boarded the boat we were given ear phones to plug into next to our seat to hear the comentary !!
It was 90 minutes and there was lots to see and lovely lit up bridges and hotels and houses to see along the river bank !!
Very enjoyable would recommend!!

The views from the boat were fabulous. The experience would have been better if there had been someone to explain the areas where we were traveling and some of the history. The wine and cheese selection were marginal.

This was a really lovely experience.
Travelling through the canals with a guide and the wine and cheese box was something memorable.

First, the cruise departure is NOT the location listed on Viator. We missed our 8pm cruise as a result and had to wait around for the 9pm. It is a short walk but we could at make it. The cruise did not go through the light show. The “guide” is a pre recorded audio that you listen to with headphones provided. No commentary from a live person at all. Celery was nice but that is the only good thing I can say about this cruise.

Viator provided the incorrect meeting point address. Luckily we arrived to the listed address with enough time to spare to speed walk 10 minutes to the actual dock. Not easy when pregnant. We weren't alone in being misdirected, but we were the last to load into the boat due to this. Almost lost our entire experience because of this. The experience itself was nothing special, I wasn't anticipating sitting in silence plugged into a headset on a boat learning facts about Amsterdam.

Lights were fabulous but no real description of reference points. Cheese was hard crackers stale. You listened to a recording on tape throughout the tour. I'm sure you could find better. 2 different locations - Uber took us to the wrong one.

Make sure the meeting spot is correct in your confirmation. Ours wasn’t and we had to speed walk to get to the correct location.

Comfortable boat, temperature and weather proof. The audio did not work for the first half of the cruise. Captain apologized for the computer failure. Nice overview of Amsterdam.

Great canal boat tour of Amsterdam! The staff at Blue Boat could not have been any nicer. The staff at check-in was super, asking us if we needed anything; and our boat captain (who just about did everything on the boat) was GREAT! He pointed out many sites on the trip that was not on the audio tour provided. The seating was comfortable, and the decorations on the table just added to to the experience. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

The canal experience was great. It does not loop around so whatever side you’re sitting on is what you can take photos of. Here’s a photo hack, place your phone directly on the cleanest part of the window and you won’t have glare.

Well organised and informative laid back night cruise. The lights were quite nice and the captain provided some excellent additional information beyond the provided audio commentary.
