Highly recommend!

This tour was definitely a highlight of our stay in Amsterdam! Jan was a fantastic guide, a great mix of entertaining, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were traveling with our 4 year old and she also loved the tour. Being on a smaller boat early in the morning was exactly what we were looking for, and the delicious bread and drinks were a plus! Definitely worth the price!

Very pleasant way to see Amsterdam

A very pleasant way to spend 75 minutes seeing the canals and their surroundings of Amsterdam. A nice leisurely pace was set by our skipper, Melanie, who expertly navigated the narrow arches of some the bridges as well as giving some of her own pieces of Amsterdam's history. The boat was comfortable, not overcrowded and kept us dry when we did have a shower of rain. And well worth booking through Viator

Canal Boat Tour w. Emma

The canal boat tour was a lovely experience! My partner and I were on a layover and looking for something to do. Emma was a great tour guide. She was so knowledgeable (a true local!) and super charming. We felt like we truly learned so much about Amsterdam in that one hour. Also, despite the fact that it was raining, we were kept warm by the blankets, ponchos, and umbrellas she provided, as well as her positive attitude! She drove the boat expertly and the small group size made the experience more intimate and comfortable. Emma went above and beyond, even recommending other things we could do once the tour finished, if we had the time. Would highly recommend a canal boat tour with Emma! ❤️

Fantastic Night Canal Cruise in Amsterdam! Our guide was born and raised in Amsterdam and it showed! He was friendly, honest, genuine, self-deprecating, and genuinely funny. He shared great history along with personal anecdotes that I could actually relate to, which made the whole tour feel much more personal and enjoyable. We booked the 9:00 pm slot specifically to see the city lights, and it was the perfect choice. Having already seen the daytime views, the nighttime contrast was beautiful and really highlighted the canals in a whole new way. The snacks and drinks provided were just the right amount, especially since we had already eaten dinner beforehand. My wife, her sister, her husband, and I all thoroughly enjoyed the full two hours. It was a highlight of our trip! **Only tiny suggestion:** Adding some soft background music would enhance the ambience even more. Other than that, it was excellent – highly recommend!

Great little boat ride on the canals.

My husband and I really enjoyed our boat tour. I especially liked that the captain and crew were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The boat itself was a smaller one about 10-15 person I’d say and open air which was perfect. The captain gave us drinks and the young man, Boaz, I believe was an excellent tour guide sharing interesting facts and tid bits about the canals, buildings and culture. Highly recommend.

This tour shows you and tells you about Amsterdam and how it came to be what it is today. Personal stories that entertain and educate, not pre-recorded. We enjoyed our tour with Jan so much that we booked another for the next day with Ollie. Both exceeded our hopes. Would suggest going in the morning when canal traffic is less, late afternoon on Friday was very busy and made piloting the boat and entertaining guests a difficult task…which Ollie managed well. Take this tour and enjoy a personal experience.

The BEST Amsterdam Canal Tour

So much better than the “bateau mouches”. Smaller so can go to small canals they can’t. Open so you don’t have to look through the reflections on the plastic roofs. Driver/guide was very engaging and with nice sense of humour. Great to get away from the “19 languages” plug-in headsets. I have been on several Amsterdam canal tours before. This was by far the most interesting and enjoyable

The best way to see Amsterdam, hands down. Roman was amazing and provided us with an unforgettable experience that we talked about the whole night until the next morning. Fantastic canal cruise...

Fantastic canal cruise experience. Nuno and Renee were excellent guides, sharing loads of interesting facts about Amsterdam, from the history of the canals to the surrounding buildings and the light show. The drinks were great and constantly topped up, which made the experience even better. Nuno also gave us some recommendations for bars and restaurants afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Pizza boat trip

easy to find , got aboard and was asked which pizza we would like and had about 5 options, alcohol was included this consisted of wine or beer but soft drinks also included, nuts was also on the table To nibble on , staff on the boat was very friendly. We had a lovely evening the pizza was lovely but I would say , more information/history should be given as a lot of the trip itself the guide was not talking through which was a shame , canals looked beautiful at night and we are glad we done the trip

A total Vibe!

The total cruise was an absolute vibe! From the moment we boarded until we disembarked. The guide was both knowledgeable and engaging and quite witty with his humor. Highly recommend it's you're a smoker or not. My husband and brother partook while my sister and I did not but they had a nice rose wine and beer for purchase asking with water and sodas. Would totally do this tour again!
