This experience wad probably the best tour I have had. Not only was Captain Dave extremely knowledgeable about his city and country but also so engaging and entertaining! My recommendation would be don’t miss out on this canal cruise!! I would do it again. !

A lot of laughs while you drink. We had Captain Dave’s first mate. He had a ton of knowledge and kept a rowdy bunch laughing and enjoying the beautiful city
The small size of the tour group made this a very personable outing! The group on board was fun and lively which made for a great time.
Captain Dave’s group was extremely engaging and knowledgeable and provided interesting and informative commentary - all very of which was live and not prerecorded! There were plenty of beverages provided - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and since a birthday was being celebrated Captain Dave’s brought on some special treats for all passengers!
The boat was comfortable but crowded with ample space for all on board.
Can’t speak highly enough about Captain Dave and Captain Kareem and would happily recommend this group to anyone seeking a canal cruise in Amsterdam.
Very intimate with the small group...the tour was very informative and the gentleman was professional and funny ...would recommend to anyone who wanted more of private tour but not pricey.
This was lovely tour with drinks the only problem I have was finding where the boat left from If you do not have google no one knew where to catch it from No signs and even shop keepers in the area did not know We were sent from one end of the canal to the other and thenback again The only way we found out where itwas leaving from was from others that we finally met that were waiting

Stang did a great job taking us through the canal system and making sure we had enough beverages. Not a lot of running commentary as in a typical tour but he answered all yhe questions we asked. Would do it again. Very relaxing boat ride.
The canal ride with Roman was awesome and one of the highlights of the trip to Amsterdam.
His knowledge of the city and his funny approach was a blast.

Our boat trip with Ramon was a fantastic experience. He took great care of us shared information about the city we would highly recommend.
Boat had an interesting history. It was quite comfortable. The captain/guide was informative. Drinks were available at the start and during the tour. Cabin had windows that permitted air circulation and ability to take clear photographs. The guide/captain identified some key historical sights during the tour.
Intimate, small boat experience. Captain Dave was a great tour guide. Grew up in the city and knows the city!

100% Recommend! Jan was very entertaining and informative. We had a customized tour and learned a lot.
The cruise was good. The narrative was given by the captain. The seats were mostly in an j door cabin. We sat outside where there wA room for 6. Unfortunately even though the captain was prepared with a speaker so we can hear what he was saying in the cabin with a connected microphone, it did not work 75 % of the ride and we had to strain to hear. Despite that we loved the ride. The wine bear and snack were basic but good.
Captain Ollie was out captain on the Captain Dave boat and he is absolutely amazing!!! He was fun, funny, and EXTREMELY informative. He knew fascinating history about the area and made it relatable to each of us and where we came from. And not only did he have great history and information about all of the sights but he maneuvered the boat impressively! There were some incredibly tight corners and even had a situation with a local boat that he was able to navigate and keep on track! Absolutely amazing tour. Extremely highly recommend!
This tour shows you and tells you about Amsterdam and how it came to be what it is today. Personal stories that entertain and educate, not pre-recorded. We enjoyed our tour with Jan so much that we booked another for the next day with Ollie. Both exceeded our hopes. Would suggest going in the morning when canal traffic is less, late afternoon on Friday was very busy and made piloting the boat and entertaining guests a difficult task…which Ollie managed well. Take this tour and enjoy a personal experience.
Dave is a genuinly nice guy who interacts with his guests on a personal level. Choice of what to do: Touristy, local or islands (or mix within reason). Good quality beverages..Had a good time in vessel James Bond. The toilet, albeit small, is a plus.
What a wonderful way to start our girls trip to Amsterdam. Giselle was a wonderful guide. It was so relaxing and a great way to see the city while recharging from our long flight.
Jan did such a nice job as our Captain. I really enjoyed learning the stories of the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands! In addition, he did a wonderful job describing the different parts of the canals, the buildings and the city. Gave us some extra recommendations about the restaurants, stores, galleries, museums and food he also loves
