Itinerary

Your cruise experience departs regularly throughout the day, making it easy to fit into your sightseeing schedule. Begin near Centraal Station, and meet your seasoned skipper as you climb aboard a vessel run on solar energy.

Take in unobstructed views from your open-air vessel. Your multi-lingual audio guide will provide you with informative commentary on the architecture and landmarks that you see along the way. Pass the merchants' houses, built during the 16th and 17th centuries. Learn why they were designed with narrow frontages and hear about their beautiful gables, some with carvings that depict the family crests and trades of the homeowners.

You'll also pass the Anne Frank House, as well as the Golden Bend district with its grand manor houses. Cruise under the city’s lovely bridges, including the Magere Brug, and glide alongside leafy banks and quaint houseboats.

After a little over an hour, return sail to the departing dock, where your tour ends.

This tour was great, it gave really interesting information and was so easy to see everything and gave you chase to see things you wouldn’t maybe see from the paths. Well worth it and such a friendly crew.

Appauling service! Arrived at the departure dock 5 minutes before pre booked departure time to be told the boat was full and to arrnage at ticket desk to go on the next boat. Ticket desk agent then told us no exchanges "tough F.... S... " was his exact words. So we did not actually get to go on the cruise after paying. There are also 2 docking stations for this provider and this is not stated or advised on the bookings we had qued for 10 mins the opoosite side and had we known prior probably would have made our trip.

Tour company falls short

Was looking forward to treating my family to a get to know tour of Amsterdam by the canals. However, tour company decided to cancel due to weather, but more likely cancelled due to not enough bookings. We then had to wait in long line to take a different tour, with not as nice of boat. Disappointing to not be taken care of better by the tour operators.

People were helpful directing us to the right boats. Unfortunately, they were unable to take the tickets I'd printed upon booking, requiring us to go to their office to get official tickets. The tour itself was very good. However, the intent of booking the canal cruise by small open boat was to be able to access canals that larger boats could not access such as the canal through the middle of the red light district. The tour did not include that and seemed to follow the same routes as most of the other boats of all sizes. In that respect the tour was a bit disappointing.
