We needed to get from Whittier to Anchorage from our cruise ship to the airport. The small Sprinter Van and the smaller number of passengers allowed for a private tour that was catered towards us. We were comfortable, engaged and not in ‘a herd’ with others. This was a great way to continue the vacation while we transported from one area to another.

This was an excellent transfer. Really it was more of a tour in itself and not just a transfer to the airport. Leona with Beluga did a great job keeping us interested and stopping at all the interesting spots along the way!

It is a full day of exploring parts of Alaska you won’t see from the cruise ports. A wonderful way to travel to Anchorage with pickup from cruise terminal and drop off at your hotel or the airport. Taylor Luo was a great guide!! We made many stops, he pointed out things such as a moose and mountain goats and was vet informative, patient, and kind. It was a beautiful day!!

Was very satisfied with such a great Tour guide LEONA. she was on time picking us up an dropping us off. She was very knowledgeable about the tour from Anchorage to Whittier. It was just us with her and it was great. She even named the glacier with no name after my friend Charlene,. so cute. Her photography pictures she took were outstanding. She was so pleasant and concerned of our safety. My only wish was if you could supply water on the trip or remind us to bring something to drink. after the hike we were so thirsty. My only regret was when all the other people got on the bus they were very disrespectful when they would sneeze or cough. never covering their mouth. Think next time i would bring a mask. Thank you Leona for an amazing TOUR.

Best way to see more before your flight home. I ended a cruise in Whittier but wasn't flying out until late evening. This was a great way to see a little bit more of the area instead of getting a hotel room. The smaller busses (no logos, so don't look for them that way) are nice to keep the group numbers low. Lots of walking and Taylor was a great guide/driver for the day. Wildlife, glaciers and lots of stops for photos!

Geoff is probably one of the nicest and knowledgeable tour guides we’ve ever had! He was great with communication and made us feel so welcomed! This tour was definitely worth it and such good use of time since our flight in Anchorage wasn’t until late afternoon. Geoff never made us feel rushed at each destination and got us to the airport in good timing. We could all see how passionate he was about Alaska and sharing so many cool facts about the glaciers, wildlife, etc. I would 10/10 recommend him again!

We really enjoyed traveling with Leona! Lots of beautiful scenery, wildlife and even Beluga Whales. One important note for participants! There is an opportunity to hike to the Byron Glacier. The gravel trail is 1.5 miles long and relatively flat, with a few slight slopes until you reach the glacier. Then the ground is rocky and uneven. If you choose not to take the hike, you can remain in the van. Leona was very accommodating to drop off people anywhere they needed.

A great way to end a cruise! Leona was fun and very informative. The hike to the glacier was beautiful! We saw salmon and bear tracks at Potter’s Marsh. Had a great lunch at a local pizza place. Saw a ton of animals at the wildlife sanctuary. Great way to spend the time before our red eye in Anchorage.

Great bus ride!

Wonderful bus ride. We were picked up at our cruise ship terminal. We made several scenic stops to see beautiful waterfalls, walked on a glacier, went to a wildlife center to see many native animals and learned much of Alaskan history. We also got dropped off at our hotel after dropping off people at the airport. It was a full day tour from getting off our cruise ship at Whittier to Anchorage. Highly recommended.

Our driver Taylor was great. He took us to many locations along the way from the port at Whittier to the airport at Anchorage. He shared a lot of detailed information about the area as he drove and at each stop along the way. He was a very friendly guy. We would highly recommend using him for this excursion.

Much more than an airport transfer

This was the perfect tour and airport transfer for us as we had a flight late out of Anchorage. Our guide Jeff did a really great job and went above and beyond what was expected. He didn't just drop us off at each sight. He escorted us through and answered allot of questions and gave allot of comentary. We did everything as listed in the tour description plus a few extra sights as we had extra time.

This tour was an amazing experience; partly because of the things we saw and partly because Leona was fantastic! The hike to Byron Glacier and then standing on the glacier was truly breathtaking. The AWCC was fantastic if you want to see a lot of animals and learn the stories of how they got there. Potters Marsh bird sanctuary was cool as we saw a bald eagle sitting on her nest. If you’re looking for a safe and informative way to get from Whittier to Anchorage, then this tour is for you! Thanks Leona for a great time!!

Amazing transfer excursion with Geoff. What a friendly, informative guy who totally took our lead on how much time to spend on each excursion, which were all terrific. He was great at accommodating our needs, including patience with our delayed disembarkment, bathroom and lunch breaks, and getting us to the airport at the requested time. We highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful time with our guide Greg, if it wasn't for him, this would not be 5 stars. A few stops coincided with the large the large tour buses, which was not fun or desirable, but a few stops did not. Greg was fun, friendly, and his local knowledge is invaluable to the experience. He made sure every person (of the 7 of us) got something special from the stops. this was a great way to kill time before the flight home. Request Greg if you do this tour.

Great way to get from your cruise ship into Anchorage. Our guide Adam was very helpful & understanding when our luggage was delayed being unloaded from the ship. He took us to lovely places along the way before dropping us off at our hotel door.

Excellent communication, they answered my doubts, they pick us up form our pier we traveled to Whittier with NCL, and took us to our hotel in Anchorage, Taylor was our driver, he was really kind, explain us everything, he was really patient, the weather was not good, but the experience was great with Taylor, fully recomended.

Picked up at Whittier port: Geoff was courteous, patient and took care of our luggage. He explained in great detail what the day would consist of and asked where each person's final destination was to be for drop off. During the ride: Geoff pointed out landmarks, history, fun facts and took us to great stops. He also made time for lunch for all of us at a gas station plaza in Girdwood! There were a few different shops to choose from. Don't sleep on Coast Pizza! Some of the best pizza from a pizza connoisuer. And it's sold by the slice with several choices available. Dessert was ice cream from the Ice Cream Shop. Huckleberry and Spumoni, among other delicious flavors in a small town shop is a win!. There is also a drug store for any OTC needs and what not. Because our guide was relaxed and knowledgeable, we had some unforgettable impromptu stops along the way. We were able to spot some mountain goats from afar, a small hike to Virgin Creek Falls, see planes fly directly overhead and the Sleeping Lady! It was an Alaska transfer experience I will never forget! Dropped off directly at the hotel entrance: Geoff removed our luggage for us and we parted ways. Overall, it was a fully packed day filled with sites and views, I would not have been able to experience on a train or cruise ship transfer that only took you to the airport. Snacks and water were also offered along the way if anyone wanted any. Please be kind and tip your driver! While you are there for the adventure, he is there for his livelihood! One last thing to mention. After getting dropped off at the hotel, my daughter realized that she left her cell phone in the tour bus. Geoff was kind enough to return the phone shortly thereafter! The operator, Geoff was very knowledgable about the area and took the time to point out interesting sights and background information. We made numberous stops to get up close and personal with the area and we took loads of memorable photos. The group was hoping to encounter wildlife and Geoff did his best to deliver (we diid see a moose!). The tour promised to end with him dropping us off at the airport and that is exactly what happened. All and all, I would highly recommend this tour as the perfect end of a cruise into Whittier, Alaska.
