It is a full day of exploring parts of Alaska you won’t see from the cruise ports. A wonderful way to travel to Anchorage with pickup from cruise terminal and drop off at your hotel or the airport. Taylor Luo was a great guide!! We made many stops, he pointed out things such as a moose and mountain goats and was vet informative, patient, and kind. It was a beautiful day!!

Geoff was an absolutely amazing driver, Anchorage local, and a blast to have as a tour guide. Truly he is so knowledgeable and makes the experience so worth it, you can absolutely tell he loves what he does and puts immense effort in to providing a good and enjoyable experience. You make multiple stops along the way from Whittier to Anchorage, stopping at a wildlife sanctuary, multiple small hiking and photo points. The van is nice, spacious, and Geoff will make sure you and your luggage make it safe to your destination.
Geoff kept us updated and picked us up right from the cruise terminal, any worries were put to ease. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Alaskan adventures if you want a great tour after your cruise ends in Whittier. This was the perfect way to end our Alaskan cruise!! Forever grateful to Geoff and Alaskan adventures. 10/10!!!!!!!

Kevin is a very friendly and thoughtful guide. It took the stress off having had the driver reach out beforehand as the Whittier terminal was very chaotic. He was very informative and gave us a good idea of what living in Alaska might look like. He accommodated to everyone’s interest and physical abilities. Overall, a wonderful initial experience to Anchorage.

Leona was thorough, knowledgeable and wonderful! We got to see beautiful glaciers, waterfalls and creeks. We also visited a wildlife sanctuary where it’s filled with bears, elks, bisons, etc. Fantastic day trip from Whittier to Anchorage.

What a wonderful experience!
My wife and I were faced with a 7:00 am disembarkation and a 10:00pm flight and were looking for something to fill some the time.
Choosing Whittier Cruise Transfer with Wildlife and Glacier Tour and getting Geoff Rockwell as our driver/guide was the best thing we could have done!
From the start (night before) Geoff was personable and informative, letting us know what his plans were, where he was and when to expect him.
Once underway, Geoff drove us to multiple sites, explaining sights along the way and sharing not only statistical facts, but many personal experiences connected with the sites we visited as well.
Geoff has a 13 year old son and has spent a LOT of time with him since age 4 hiking many of the mountains and trails in the area multiple times. The personal pictures he shared with us of some his own experiences of these sights brought them even more to life! They were incredible!
I could go on, but suffice it to say if you have time to kill between disembarkation and your flight home and you're looking for an informative and interactive way to learn about the area around Whittier and Anchorage, this is the service to choose and Geoff is the best guide you can get!

We had the best time traveling around the Anchorage area with Geoff on the way to the airport. Pick up at the cruise port and drop off at the airport was smooth and very convenient. It truly felt like we got a sense of Anchorage as a local from viewpoints, waterfalls, and marshland. Beautiful views and a great sense of Alaska’s impressive biodiversity. Definately recommend this tour.

Wow! I knew it would be good after reading the reviews, but Kevin was exceptional. We traveled as a group of 9. My 80 year old father had his wheelchair and walker with him and Kevin made it all work and fit which isn’t easy! Snacks and a drink were provided. We stopped for lunch and several really cool places. I can’t imagine a better or more convenient way to spend our day after getting off the cruise ship in the morning when our flight didn’t leave until 10:30pm. This is worth every penny. Kevin - thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our group!!!!

The driver was wonderful . . . accommodating and kind. It was a comfortable ride with water and snacks freely provided. The actual itinerary differed slightly from the one advertised but I can't imagine one better than what we experienced. The Virgin Creek Falls were AMAZING! We also enjoyed the Wildlife Center and seeing the museum in Portage Valley.

Daniel was an experienced, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide! I booked it at the last minute and thought I was just getting an airport transfer (my fault for waiting till the last minute and not looking at the details carefully). What a delightful surprise to find out we were making all those amazing stops and learning so much along the way! I especially loved the option to go hiking in the National Forest, which was the absolute highlight of my entire 10-day Cruise! Best excursion ever!!! 10 out of 10, I highly recommend everyone transfer with Alaska Horizon Adventure!!! Thank you, Daniel for such a wonderful day!

This transport tour from Whittier to Anchorage with Alaska Horizon Adventure was wonderful! Our driver Kevin was friendly, warm, fun, and accommodating to the needs of everyone. The day proceeded in a very flexible way, as Kevin wanted to do all he could to meet the needs of every passenger. He went far above and beyond for everyone in ways I never expected. He was simply wonderful and made a day that could have been a logistical nightmare stress free and fun. I cannot begin to recommend this company or Kevin highly enough. Thank you for everything and for making our last day in Alaska as lovely as our cruise.

What a lovely way to get off your cruise ship and head up to Anchorage. We got to stop at many beautiful places and learned a lot about the state of Alaska. It made it very relaxing and fun.

Daniel was punctual and communicated the day before to confirm arrangements. He was also very personable and knowledgeable. He was very patient with our friend who has mobility and cognitive issues. It was a great way to spend the long hours after debarking ship and boarding flight home. The sites he took us to see were amazing! We are happy we took this particular tour.

Great way to take your time from Whittier to the airport. Stopped along the way at many sites and lovely scenery. Tour guide , Leona, was excellent. And very accommodating taking us wherever we wanted to go stopping or not stopping if we didn’t want to. Don’t hesitate.

Our driver and guide were wonderful! They were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything we saw. The wildlife center was a great stop as were the other spots we stopped at along the way. This was a great way to spend the day before our overnight flight out of Anchorage.

Our guide/driver Daniel was extremely knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and did all he could to help us find any wildlife along the sides of the roads. I highly recommend his tour for those who do not need to rush out to the airport so you get the chance to experience the wonderful landscape of Alaska.

Great tour and route for a day trip. I took this trip with my fiance since we both had a free day and wanted to get out of Anchorage to see more of Alaska. Daniel was super helpful every step of the way, he picked us up and dropped us back off from our address in Anchorage and was on time to the minute. He was very knowledgeable about every leg of the tour (also a great iphone photographer) and all around made the trip a 10/10. Would highly recommend.
