It was awesome. Loved stopping at the Alaskan Wildlife Conservatory. Driver was very informative. Just didn't like the drop off point.

Nice transfer with good views and animals at the conservation center. Really enjoyed the conservation center and seeing all the bears and other animals

Very easy pickup at the port and a nice way to kill some time on the way into town. We were a large group and everything went smoothly

This ended up being more transportation than an excursion. The stop at the conservation was sad. The animals are just caged and several paced, the place needs work, good bathroom stop. Other than that, there were no other stops. Sights along way were fine. Driver was enthusiastic!

Hi Debra,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the scenery along the way and appreciated your driver’s enthusiasm.
We do want to clarify that this experience is a transfer tour, so the primary purpose is to transport guests from Whittier to Anchorage, with a scheduled visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center along the way. It is not designed as a multi-stop sightseeing excursion.
We’re sorry to hear the Conservation Center was not what you expected. The property spans 200 acres and provides care and rehabilitation for injured, orphaned, and non-releasable Alaska wildlife. The animals are very well cared for, and the Center’s mission is conservation and rehabilitation rather than providing a safari-style experience.
Based on your comments, our direct Whittier-to-Anchorage transfer may have been a better fit for what you were looking for. We appreciate your feedback and are glad there were still aspects of the journey you enjoyed.

We had later flight and didn’t want to do just bus to airport , stopping at the wildlife park was nice place stretch legs and get walk in and enjoy one more part of Alaska before heading home - Nate was our driver and gave us commentary along the way and also just some quiet time to enjoy the scenery.

Easy to find in terminal, bus was spacious and comfortable. Our driver, Tallon, was wonderful. We wished we had a little bit more time at the Wildlife Conservation. The kids thoroughly enjoyed being able to see the animals we've watched on TV up close and personal. Wet and muddy, but we were prepared with boots.

We had the bus for ourselves because another group cancelled. Driver Nate was reliable. He was punctual and responsible. We had a smooth ride from Whittier to Anchorage. We spent about an hour in the animal conservation center.

This tour was perfect for the last day of our vacation. Sam was our driver and met us right in the cruise terminal at Whittier. (He was even early!) He loaded our luggage into the bus and we made our way to the wildlife center. He gave us an overview of the place & told us what we could expect to see. He did a great job!
Afterwards, he dropped us in Anchorage.
FYI, if you are on Princess, walk a couple blocks from the drop off to the convention center, where you can leave your bags then get a ride to the airport.

We chose this after our cruise, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Rather than simply booking a shuttle through the cruise line, we enjoyed an informative and entertaining tour that turned our transfer into a memorable experience.
Our driver and guide, Sam from Utah, was outstanding. Throughout the journey, he provided interesting commentary about the wildlife, history, geography, and local culture of Alaska, which made the trip far more engaging than a standard bus transfer. His knowledge and friendly personality kept everyone interested, and he was always happy to answer questions.
The scenery was spectacular, and we had the opportunity to see wildlife that we did not see while on our cruise. Despite enjoying a full sightseeing experience, we still arrived in Anchorage with plenty of the afternoon remaining. Sam also offered excellent advice on things to see and do in Anchorage, helping us make the most of the rest of our day.
If you're travelling from Whittier to Anchorage after a cruise, I highly recommend this excursion. It offers much more value than a simple transfer and provides a fantastic final taste of Alaska before heading home.
A knowledgeable guide, beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings, and plenty of time left in Anchorage; a perfect way to end our cruise.

Our driver/guide Jeff was friendly and informative. The bus is clean and comfortable. The visit to AWCC was great!

The wildlife center was very nice but it needs to be longer than an hour. The tour guide asked if anyone had a flight before 3 or 4 and no one had an early flight so not sure why we had to hurry
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.
We completely understand wanting more time there, and we would love to extend the visit whenever possible. However, our buses often have additional duties and other tour responsibilities scheduled afterward that may not be visible from a guest perspective. While we do our best to offer extra time when logistics allow, we apologize that we were not able to provide your group with a longer visit on this day.
Nevertheless, we truly appreciate you choosing to travel with us and hope you enjoyed your Alaska adventure.

The wildlife extravaganza was well worth it. Although the weather didn’t cooperate because of rain, we did see all the animals and did not feel rushed. We had a very pleasant bus driver ( Brian , I believe was his name) who was informative,, accommodating and friendly. He talked about the history of Whittier, explained the sights along the drive and dropped passengers off at the airport on time.
We left the cruise port on time but the signage for their company could be a little larger because after the disembarkation from the ship, with all the passengers getting off and the luggage in the hall of the cruise port terminal, it was a little difficult to find the tour representative.
I recommend this tour as a way to get from the cruise port to the airport because once you arrive in Anchorage, you’re closer to the check-in time of any hotels that you might want to stay in. I also found it was a little less costly than the ship’s transportation from the cruise port to Anchorage airport .
We were a party of six people, and everyone had the same opinion that it was a good tour.

Excellent!
It was easy to find the kiosk in the NCL Terminal, the workers were all friendly!
Our driver, Sam, was super nice, had interesting things to say, and drove well-even on a crazy busy time at the airport with cars and busses going everywhere!
I really wish we could have had a bit more time at the conservation center, but it was still cool to see what we saw!
The drive to Anchorage was beautiful and we even got to see the bore tide coming in!

Agreat way to get from Whittier to anchorage with an extra treat with the visit to the wilderness experience our driver Sam went out of his way to make the trip interesting and pleasant.

I really like our tour guide Amelia. She is very passionate, knowledgeable and caring. Very informative trip. See a lot of wild animals. Highly recommend.

Loved the wildlife at the preserve. The bus ride was comfortable. We had a little bit of confusion about the pick up point, but a message to the tour operator got that sorted out. It was convenient and a nice pace. The timing was great for a 2:30 flight.
