    It was a fulfilling taiko experience, even though it was short. The instructor’s guidance was easy to follow; I was worried at first whether I’d be able to do it, but as I kept going, I found myself getting completely absorbed in it. It was a truly valuable experience.

    I decided to try this out because I wanted to experience the traditional Japanese art of *wadaiko* (Japanese drumming). It was wonderful to be in such a quiet, peaceful setting—hard to believe it was right in the middle of a bustling metropolis. The instructor was cheerful and the rhythms were fun, so the time just flew by! Feeling the sound of the drums resonated through my body was surprisingly pleasant. It’s easily accessible, too; I’d love to do this again next time I visit Japan!
