Meet for this Treasure Island sunset sailing experience in the designated meeting location by the docks and get ready for a quiet and special time on the water near Treasure Island, Florida.
Check in and board your boat for the evening. Water and soda are included with this cruise, but you can also bring your own alcohol if you’d like to enjoy something while sailing. Your guide passes out blankets to those who want to cozy up under them.
As your boat sets sail, take in the views at sunset and snap pictures of its beauty. Then, as the night sky comes out, enjoy starry-sky views.
Once your sailing cruise ends, your captain returns you to land on Treasure Island.

Great bayside location, walkable to some great restaurants and easy Gulf beach access. Big balconies, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and fantastic staff. Hope to be back soon! Go on the sunset sailing ship!

Unfortunately for me it didn't go well but it had nothing to do with the crew or boat. Once we cleared the Intracoastal the water was rough and I got seasick. The crew stepped in to help me and checked on me periodically. Would absolutely do it again but definitely take precautions before getting aboard! Lol

It can get a little rolly out there from time to time in the open waters of the Gulf. We keep a supply of wrist bands and ginger chews aboard in the event of sea sickness as it can affect everyone differently. We look forward to having you out again when it is a little calmer. -Richie

What a lovely way to see the coastline and experience the waters off Salem. The staff was vey welcoming, very knowledgeable and courteous. They offered cocktails of all sorts, and gave us a history lesson of not only the schooner but of the area. I would definitely recommend this! Lucky for us we had the most gorgeous day (October 18/2025) and being on the water made it that more magical.

This was a fun experience. The boat was small enough to get a birds eye view of the water, we even saw a giant stingray! It was fun to watch the bridge go up to let us into the gulf. The captioan and crew were friendly and knowledgeable about their jobs. This was an A+++ experience and I would do this again.

The equipment was not secured, the sail came loose and hit my wife. Not only was she injured but her phone is currently in the Gulf.

Following a thorough review of the incident—including statements from the Captain, crew, and eleven other passengers aboard—it is evident that the loss of the phone resulted from extreme intoxication during your time on board. The video evidence clearly shows this was not caused by unsecured equipment or any vessel-related hazard.
Multiple eyewitnesses, including our staff, observed that Sarah was visibly impaired, stumbling, and slurring her speech. Both of you disregarded direct safety instructions from the crew immediately prior to the phone being dropped overboard. One passenger even submitted a video of the event out of concern for Sarah’s condition. In that recording, after the phone entered the water, a crew member promptly asked if Sarah was injured. You both confirmed she was not, stating only that “there was a lot going on.” At no time did either of you report an injury to myself, my staff, or the crew despite being asked directly.
Further, a separate passenger reported that Sarah took and consumed alcohol from their personal cooler. Upon your return to the dock, I personally spoke with you regarding the phone and extended my apologies. In a later phone call, Sarah stated she did not recall being in our store; however, our security footage confirms that she was present.
We take the safety of our passengers seriously, and our crew followed all required procedures. While we regret the inconvenience of a lost device, responsibility for this incident lies with the choices and condition of the individuals involved, not with the vessel, its crew, or its equipment.

Friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew. Had seasickness options available for those who needed it, waves kicked up as a quick storm went around us, then calm. Saw a fiery red sunset, then the green flash. Would do this cruise again!

Great sunset cruise & ship captains. Get in line first and sit at the back of the ship, otherwise you’ll be on a sideways bench with no backrest for the duration of the cruise…gets uncomfortable after a few hours.

Hey Jenny! Thanks for the review! Had you mentioned your discomfort during your time aboard, we could have gladly provided pillows or additional cushioning for your comfort. With our boat being a true working, topsail schooner, it is difficult to provide full lumbar supported seating in addition to the 4 inch cushioned seating that is already throughout the vessel. However we do have certain tricks up our sleeves for your personalized comfort. We invite all Guests to stand up, and move around to experience all aspects of the boat.--Richie
