Interesting tour about current population, fishing and history of Sitka. We watched salmon returning to fish hatchery and learned about their life cycle. Enjoyed guide she was great at explaining and easy to understand.

Our guide Bruce loves Sitka and knows a lot about it. Unfortunately, it was a cold & rainy day for our walk and we needed umbrellas. If Bruce had walked behind us rather than in front, or stopped more often to give us information, we would have heard better and understood more. Also, the tour was longer than indicated or needed.

The knowledge of the guide was excellent and his relationship with the locals made this tour more of an enrichment experience almost immersive. Sitka is a lovely little town with a number of historical and topical sites that were interesting and brought to life by our guide.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts, but it was difficult to hear him/his mic unless you were in the front of the group. It was much harder when there were passing cars.

The guide was personable. Answered individual questions. Goal was to see the Russian Orthodox Church. Was hoping to get inside to view the icons but it was closed. History around town was presented and was good.
