After making your way to the designated departure point on the North Highway in Sedona, your guide welcomes you aboard your open-top Jeep. Hang on tight as you set out over the rocky roads of the Sonoran Desert in your 4WD vehicle with your knowledgeable guide there to show you all the landmarks and share fascinating facts about the region's geology, plant and animal life, and history. Choose from two options below. All tours return to the original departure point to end the tour.
Diamondback Gulch Tour:
As you descend into the grand arroyos of Diamondback Gulch, gaze in wonder at the incredible canyons, towering red-rock formations and desert landscape that surrounds you. Your guide stops the Jeep at strategic points where you can appreciate the scenery and take advantage of prime photo ops. Learn about different aspects of the desert landscape and the geological forces that created the towering canyons and otherworldly rock formations. Your Jeep climbs back up the other side of Diamondback Gulch.
Ancient Ruins Upgrade:
Extend your desert off-road adventure with a trip back in time to the Honanki Heritage Site, home to the ancient ruins of the Sinagua, who were Pueblo ancestors of today's Hopi tribe. Stand in awe as your guide shows you the ruins of a 700-year-old cliff dwelling, and learn about the symbolism of the art displayed on the rock walls.

Our trip was considered one of the most "exciting" and given the terrain....we would agree! We had a blast! You will get bounced around a LOT! As a group of 4 ladies recently turning 60--we suggest being as noodle-like as possible and embrace the bouncing, rocking and rolling! Our driver Danny was awesome too!

Awesome jeep ride - very bumpy as expected. Andy was our tour person. I really believe that the tour guide can make or break your experience. He was awesome. We were lucky enough to be on this jeep trip with no other persons. It was our own personal tour. Highly recommend and ask for Andy!!

The Diamond Backk Gulch trail offers a thrilling bumpy ride. I believe it would be difficult to hang on to children even though they will be in seat belts. Highly recommend this for tweens and teens. Our guide, Kyle, was so much fun and very knowledgeable.
