Itinerary
After downtown hotel pickup, begin this private, customized tour around Seattle. Ask the friendly and knowledgeable guide for advice on where to go or make some selections and let the sightseeing start.
Where to begin? There are plenty of options. Consider Belltown, the city’s most populated neighborhood and home of the famous Pike Place Market, one of the oldest public farmers markets in the United States. It overlooks the Elliott Bay waterfront, with its span of parks and piers, ferry and ship terminals and promenades and public spaces. Coffee lovers will want the experience of visiting the original Starbucks here, too. Feel free to stop and get out at any of the sites or attractions that look especially appealing.
Not far from Belltown is the iconic Space Needle. Don’t let this opportunity pass by. Jump out, buy a ticket and ride to the top for unforgettable views of majestic Mt Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline. Consider visiting the lookout point on Queen Anne Hill for a breathtaking view of the city from a distance.
Ballard Locks is one of Seattle's most popular tourist attractions, especially during the warmer months. There’s Pioneer Square, the birthplace of Seattle, with great restaurants, shops, night life and home to two pro sports teams. Then there’s the Chinatown-International District, also known as ID, also one of Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods. Travel to the Lake Union area, with a number of floating homes, including the one from the movie Sleepless in Seattle. Pass by the University of Washington and find the famous public sculpture called the Fremont Troll.
Choose a few or choose them all. This private tour of Seattle makes it easy.

Our guide, Capt. Steve was an excellent tour guide. He had lots of information about the sites/history of Seattle.
He made everything very interesting. He was also very accommodating to my grandchildren(ages 9 and 4). We saw everything and more. I would highly recommend using Capt. Steve. I would use him again!

We actually were the only family on this tour. We had the whole van to ourselves and our guide was amazing. He was extremely nice and took his time showing us around to all the wonderful sights in Seattle. We got a history lesson the gold rush and how it influenced the city. We stopped by a cool local glass store and got to watch them make a glass plate right in front of us. You cfould feel the fire of the stove while watching. It was really memorable experience.

We extended our tour to 4 hours to take advantage of a layover. The tour guide was very informative and backed all the experiences up with a history lesson.. I thought we saw a lot of Seattle in 4 hours and decided that from now on, I will want to have a tour of a new city if I'm going to be there a few days, just so I know what sights I want to go back to for a closer look. My only other comment is that I thought the traffic in Seattle was some of the worse I have ever been in and our driver knew all the shortcuts....still really busy. Need to allow plenty of time.

This tour was outstanding. We were able to get an excellent overview of Seattle and our guide was very accommodating to meet our individual requirements. He adjusted the timing of our stops to allow extra time in places we found especially interesting and even changed the end location so that we could have lunch at a special restaurant near the Aquarium. On another day, we re-visited the city with local friends and found that we were indeed well versed in Seattle lore and were very comfortable in our Seattle Highlights knowledge. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry but our tour operator was very rude, He didn't introduce himself and came and spoke to us as though we were kids. We were waiting in our hotel lobby for him for 45 minutes and he came in and said so rudely, I have been waiting for you for so long parked on the main road. We didn't know this as usually they come to the hotel lobby. We only did half the tour and asked to go back to the hotel.

Don was our tour guide for Seattle, and he was amazing. It was only Don and the 4 of us, and he made every effort to show us everything, stop when we wanted to take a picture, etc. It was a great and fun experience. Kudos to Don.

We were given an overview of Seattle. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and to try to show us everything he could in the time allotted. Our problem was that it was a Friday afternoon in Seattle traffic!

Don picked us up at our hotel with a comfortable Ford Van. He had spent his whole life in Seattle so he was able to share his knowledge and history of the many neighborhoods we visited. We loved our break at the chocolate factory, especially the sampling, which was encouraged. We were even able to stop at the ballet school where our friends grandson had come for advanced training. At the end of a great morning Don dropped us off for lunch at one of his favorite spots within easy walking distance of our hotel. We were so comfortable with the city after our tour that we ventured out in the afternoon to the Chihouly Garden and Exhibit fabulous under the Space Needle and took the monorail to near Pike Place for dinner at Etta's before ending our beautiful day in Seattle. Thank you Don for a great tour experience, Eileen, Bob, Marcia and Jack

Good tour of the city. The vehicle was pretty rough riding though and uncomfortable.
