Interesting to see

Theresa_L, Jul 2025
The house’s history and the tie to the Girl Scouts was interesting to learn about. However, there were parts of the house that would have been intriguing to see but they were turned into offices instead. The parts you were shown were cool, but I feel there was a lot left to see.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Dear Theresa, Thank you for your recent visit to the Andrew Low House Museum. I am so happy you enjoyed your tour with us. The three story home's basement level of the house was once the working part of the home and still is today. Today this is where our administrative offices are and collection files are located. Not as exciting as the main part of the home where about 35% of the collection is original to the family and filled with so much history. If you are still in the area though and would like to take a peek, I will be happy to do this for you. Safe travels home and thank you again for visiting us. Ginger Varner Sales & Marketing Manager

An interesting, well-restored historic house. The guides are volunteer docents; the one we got was excellent.

Highly recommend the Andrew Low House Tour.

Very good tour guide and the house was outstanding. The history and background given of the family really helps to understand the people of past Savannah.

Great tour guide!

Beautiful house and we had a great tour guide who was very informative. I would recommend this tour to someone who is interested in architecture.

Meh

Rhonda_C, Apr 2022
The house has been restored and nicely done, but very few actual Low family items. Your does not include the help/kitchen area (entire first floor). Very quick tour; I’ve experienced better.

Response from Host, Apr 2022

I’m sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your tour. The Andrew Low House is one of just a few house museums in Savannah that has been preserved not restored. About 30% of the collection within the home is original to the Low family. The basement of the home houses all of the administrative & research offices where we work tirelessly booking Girl Scouts and groups and discovering the homes rich history to share with our many visitors. During your next visit ti Savannah please visit us again complimentary and I’ll be happy to show you our offices on the first floor. Ginger Varner Sales & Marketing Manager
