Don't Do It!!

The guy didnt even show up. I cancelled another Viator experience because it conflicted with this. The phone number on the booking ticket was a number that was no longer in service. The place looked like it hadnt been open for quite awhile. Very disappointed. However, Viator was very accommodating.

No Call, No Show

I booked this experience for my husbands birthday and we were so excited. We got to the meeting spot early and waited out front with coffee. I messaged the event coordinator that we arrived and then later to let him know we would be leaving in 30 minutes. He did not respond. This experience seems cool but would have been lovely if we actually got to do it.

A very unique way to spend an hour on our recent visit to spend the Fourth of July with family living in San Diego! Learned a lot about tobacco processing for cigar production and took a chance at rolling and cutting our own! Great vibe, taught from inside the humidor as well as from the cigar lounge rolling desk. The compelling production process (all organic, no chemicals) and the entrepreneurial brand development had us all riveted and wanting to know more and more. Bought some cigars to share before the fireworks at the Rady..!! Good people; nice time. LIKE!!

I was given this tour for Christmas, and based on the write-up, was really looking forward to enjoying 90 minutes with a friend, learning more about the art of hand rolling. I scheduled our session for January 12th, and we showed up at the allotted time. First concern was that no one there knew anything about it. But I showed them the Viator receipt, and one of the guys got setup for us to learn about cigar rolling. He laid out a leaf, had each of us roll a (small) cigar, put them into a bag, then ushered us to the humidor to pick out cigars to purchase. This all took less than 5 minutes. This was NOTHING like what the write-up was. No beverages, no discussions - it just seemed like an excuse to get us in the door to purchase cigars. Very disappointing.

I can't recommend the experience of hand-rolling our own cigars highly enough! The boys and I are big fans of a good cigar lounge, and "The Art of The Cigar" exceeded our expectations. The cigar selection was top-notch, and Endy was amazing—super knowledgeable and thorough in sharing the history and science of cigars and the industry. What really stood out was the personalized touch—each of us received private instructions, making the process both easy and incredibly enjoyable. Our group of seven had an absolute blast. This experience is a solid 10/10! I’d recommend it for any occasion, but it’s especially perfect for a bachelor party or a guys' getaway.

Pre rolled Cigar

The location sits far back away from the street. It's an unusual location. We were the only 2 in the shop the entire time. A cool set up. The employee was a limiited English speaker. We only speak English. It make it awkward when trying to communicate. We don't smoke Cigars we just wanted to experience and the knowledge about Cigars. We left without both. The Cigar rolling experience took 5 minutes for the 2 of us. We were handed a slim pre rolled Cigar and a leaf. We observed the employee rolling a pre rolled Cigar and we repeated what he did. THAT WAS IT! He gestured for us to look around and relax and smoke our Cigar. We tried asking questions but that didn't go well. We were about to leave when a nice gentleman came in. We found out that he is the owner of the shop. At that point we decided to stay and talk to him and get information that we were unable to get from the other guy. The owner is very nice. We talked about Cigars, business, and life in general. This experience should be titled The Lounge NOT Hand Roll a Cigar.

Fun experience

They explained and showed the making of the cigars. I rolled my own cigar and was given one of the same composition to smoke with some coffee there in the lounge. They guys there were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fun experience.

An amazing experience!! Great vibe and atmosphere… definitely going back to just enjoy a cigar and hang out. Perfect for end to a day or night out in Old Town San Diego. Don Luis and Orlando were amazing!! Don Luis is the master blender and roller for the “Don Luis” cigars. Been smoking cigars for a while now and this are definitely top self sticks. Highly recommend.
