Food was great. The walk from stop to stop was about a mile. The entire dinner and tour is about 3 hours. I think it could have been shorter. The tour guide was fun and sweet. The stories she shared about the hauntings were interesting. The reason I am giving it a 4 is because I feel the tour could have been shorter. It did feel like it dragged a bit.

The setting was nice. The hotel is very pretty and luxurious, and the dinner area was nice and gloomy, but the food was cold. The bread came very late in the dinner like as they were about to pick up the dinner plates the steak was cold. The tour guide tried her best to make things interesting but it was just a lot of talking and a lot of ghost stories. I guess maybe I was just expecting something a little different but the other guest there made a really good time. We had good conversation we talked we laughed. We had some drinks, but I don’t think it was worth the price. I was trying to surprise my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day with a cool special Valentine dinner, but he was disappointed so it kind of made me feel disappointed too.

A unique experience, the dinner was spectacular, I truly had an amazing time, thank you por la experiencia.

Very disappointed. It was more like getting a tour of the city. We walked away half way tru the tour. If you want to hear about where the building used to be you might like it.

Our guide Bear had great information about the scientific insights of ghost hunting. That’s what I enjoyed the most. The dinner was mid, food was lukewarm but the server was trying her best. We paid for the experience in my opinion. One issue I had was with our guide was how he would debunk everything. My cousin had a conversation with him because she truly wanted to believe we had an experience in the Emily Morgan hotel but he was to busy debunking our findings. It disappointed her and now she has lost her interest in the paranormal. Let the guests tell their side and just go with it, after all the tours are just “stories.” Unlike the Sisters Grimm tour, there wasn’t many stops along the way.

We enjoyed The Haunted Dinner Tour. Bear had a lot of great information and the meal was fantastic! We had a great time!

Knowledgeable guide. Walking tour not too long or difficult. It was interesting to hear information about San Antonio landmarks.
Rachel_M, Aug 2025
Logan was very knowledgeable about the history of encounters in the areas around downtown San Antonio.
Regina_O, Jul 2025
Dinner was good, the tour was uninteresting :(
The tour guides stories were long and boring, would have liked more historical geared stories that got to the point sooner to keep our interest.
Sarina_F, Jul 2025
Wonderful experience. Logan was knowledgeable and entertaining during our dinner and tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Guide talked ALOT without ever really answering a single question. Food was cold! Had dinner then. Walked to his store for no other reason than try to get us to buy stuff… ugh!

Good show, good food, expected a little more. Overall I was happy with experience. Maybe a little pricey.

We enjoyed the haunted dinner tour. The guide was very knowledgable. We had a few annoying and loud people in the group who talked so loud it was hard to hear him, and he handled them better than I would’ve. The meal was okay even though it was in what felt like a basement room.
Arica_L, Apr 2025
We had a great time talking with Logan about his experiences and his opinions on different phenomena!
Jodi_O, Mar 2025
It is a fun evening. The food was good but cold. Money spent that much on food should be hot. Tour was fun. Logan knew his history, but talked a little fast and jumped around a bit.
Alexandra_B, Feb 2025
We had a great and educational time with Logan “Bear”! The dinner was also great. Would definitely recommend as a way to see some beautiful architecture and learn some local lore and history.
Eric_F, Feb 2025
The dinner was very good ! Tour guides stories and knowledge on history were good ! Just be careful if u show up early and have to many drinks at the bar u might not make the rest of the night lol!
Terry_M, Feb 2025
Food was good. Everything else was not worth the time nor money. Guide rambled extensively at a few stops after forcing us to spend time in his store. He stated he was some kind of expert, but was not

Wonderful! Our guide was amazing and very spooky... made a wonderful birthday experience. Even as a local I still had lots to learn about San Antonio.
Gina_V, Nov 2024
Food was good The guide was nice It just wasn’t spooky or scary at all. It is a nice way to see the city
Trevor_B, Nov 2024
The food was phenomenal, steak was tender and had great flavor. The setting was very relaxing as well; I wish the bar service had been better but they were a little busy.
Now, onto the ghost tour portion. Let me tell you, Bear is one of the coolest people I’ve met. Very informative, you can see the passion he has for what he does. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and honestly, I’d even do it again.

This was a lot of fun. The dinner was tasty and Logan was a real expert sharing his experience and stories. The ghost walk was a nice pace and super informative. We would highly recommend this haunted dinner tour!

Ms. Laura Tomorrow did a great job. Dinner was great and the vibe was awesome. The story’s of the individual hauntings were detailed and unfortunate. Been here my whole life and didn’t know these things.
Christie_G, Oct 2024
Tour guide was not excited to be there. He seemed bothered almost. No real substance tobb no the your. The food was good
Gary_T, Oct 2024
The story telling of Jose made the experience as we were walking through tour, were very intriguing. The knowledge of the city that he knew and history of events and names and ages of all individuals involved.
Mike_C, Oct 2024
Our guide was great!! He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions! The dinner was delicious!

I was in town with some co-workers for a work trip, & we decided to go on a haunted ghost tour of downtown that included dinner. We enjoy going on ghost tours of the different places we visit. That being said, we've been on a few tours around Texas & in San Antonio before. Our guide we were with claimed to be an expert in his field & had a lot to say about other experts who are also TV personalities. His opinions were not kind or relevant & it was just weird. From the beginning of the tour my friend & I picked up on a curious situation. He was retelling stories we had already heard from other tours that were not in San Antonio & stories we had heard about other buildings in San Antonio that we had already toured. Either he got his stories mixed up, was embellishing stuff for entertainment purposes.
We did have a little fun, because the food was nice, although they didn't allow us to order drinks, & the crowd was fun. The walk wasn't hard, but it did get a little weird because he would stop and ask us questions, then get flustered or irritated when I or someone else answered correctly. It seemed like an ego thing to me. but thought I'd mention it.
I sent this review to the tour management who had sent me a review request & they responded with they will be retraining the tour guide.

Thanks for the review!
As I said through email, this was our newest guide, and at this point we’ve already corrected the issue. Once again I apologize for the experience, and the offer for discounted tickets and a different guide in for a future tour never expires, just give us a call. :)

It was really fun and the history was very cool.
May want to add a stop (pub or something similar)
It’s a bit of a walk, especially if the weather is on the warmer side
Rachel_S, Aug 2024
The dinner was very disappointing! I expected more being from ‘The’ Emily Morgan Hotel. Steak was tough and grisly (especially for a butter knife), rolls were not cooked and veggies had no seasoning. Pecan pie was delicious though! The hour given for Bear to talk about himself was a little much, and bashing other people weren’t needed. But the walk was very informative. I would definitely recommend the tour!
