One of my favorite zoos in the United States. We have been to a lot of zoos. However, I love the set up of this zoo. I love the interaction opportunities with the animals. Great staff. Everybody is accommodating. Love it!!!

Great zoo some exhibits were lackluster compared to other zoos like the lions, giraffes and elephants. But monkey and birds were plenty.

Too many empty exhibits. Some of the exhibits looked unkempt and unclean. All looking glasses were dirty inside and out. Water was so dirty we couldn't see the fish through the glass. We miss seeing elephants, tigers, lions, and chimpanzees. We did enjoy the birds and the aquarium.

The Congo exhibit is wonderful however there is so much construction and nobody there could give us any information either of what was going on, but hopefully next year if we come back it’ll be better The train is on the outside of the zoo so you really don’t see anything seems pointless.

It was ok. A variety of birds and reptiles but not many mammals. The Gorillas were hidden from the public and the place was crowded.

Gorillas were awesome pulled a plant out of the ground and threw it at another one!!! Also the mail had his butt to the window playing with his toes!!! The Jaguar walking across the road above was awesome too!!! The Hippos even got out of the water! Eating lettuce right in front of us!!!💕

You spend 60 bucks for entry once you get there everything is dark. Can’t see any of the animals. Everything is shut down, very nice environment just should not be open at night. should rethink your management for opening and closing hours when daylight is available.

I would go to this zoo if you love birds. There are so many to see.
I found the staff very knowledgeable especially the young man in the flamingo mingle area and the men in giraffe feeding area.
I wasn’t impressed with the other animals— most weren’t visible or were sleeping. The viewing window were frequently very dirty so it was difficult to see much.

Good to buy tickets on Viator. Cheaper tickets but still the same experience. Viator makes it easy to access and buy tickets.

Thank you for the discounted ticket. It was considerably less than the San Antonio Zoo’s admission price. The zoo has beautiful & we enjoyed feeding the giraffes. We just wish there were elephants!
